About Sound Proof San Diego
At Soundproof San Diego, our commitment is to provide peace of mind to those who seek to reduce sound pollution in their lives. Our expertise centers on minimizing sound transmission and elevating overall sound quality to establish tranquil and welcoming atmospheres in homes and businesses throughout San Diego. Our services empower our clients to enhance their overall quality of life.
We Are Committed to Your Peace of Mind
The soundproofing systems we devise offer respite from the nuisances of noisy neighbors, heavy overhead footsteps, disruptive equipment, and the persistent hum of city transportation. Through our acoustical treatments, we reduce echoes and sound reverberation, fostering distraction-free environments, bolstering privacy, and enhancing speech clarity for both homeowners and businesses. Whether you need to reduce the noise that is upsetting your peace or enhance the sounds you enjoy, Soundproof San Diego can help!About Neil Hamovitch
In a world where noise pollution often disrupts tranquility, one man has made it his mission to bring peace to those who crave it. Meet Neil Hamovitch, the owner of a rising small business, Soundproof San Diego, a company dedicated to the art and science of soundproofing.
Neil’s journey into the world of soundproofing began with his passion for music at the age of 14, when he discovered the challenge of securing a practice space that wouldn’t disrupt others. His college years introduced him to hourly rehearsal studios with soundproofed rooms, sparking his curiosity about sound isolation. In 2003 when he returned home from college, he was ignited to master sound reduction techniques when he became frustrated with trying to locate a suitable rehearsal studio for his new band.
Over the next six years, he transformed a couple of rooms in a warehouse, conducting extensive research and experimentation, progressively improving the sound reduction capabilities of his rehearsal spaces. This expertise led to a turning point when a client asked him to build a drum studio in a garage. Collaborating with his father-in-law, a licensed contractor, they successfully created the home studio, realizing Neil’s untapped skillset.
Inspired by this experience, Neil obtained his contractor license, and in 2015, Soundproof San Diego was born. The company has undergone substantial growth since its inception, diversifying into various sound control areas. Their expertise now encompasses mitigating footstep noise between floors, treating shared walls, reducing traffic and airplane noise, enhancing windows and doors, and implementing reverberation acoustic solutions in a wide range of spaces.
Soundproof San Diego has controlled sounds in various spaces including multi and single-family residences, offices, home studios, restaurants, gyms, and houses of worship. They have undertaken custom projects involving equipment enclosures and have assisted branches of the military and local government agencies in ensuring the privacy of confidential discussions.

Robert McDonaldI’m a business entrepreneur, and I consider myself a visionary. I’m always looking to improve on the status quo, and build better projects. I look for more intuitive processes as well as ways to provide higher quality. My soft skills include thinking out of the box, creativity, and trouble-shooting. I see challenging projects as opportunities rather than obstacles. I highly value work well-done, so that means I’m often particular in how we build things. I strive to build things to last, and my ultimate goal is to see our customers experience complete satisfaction with our work.

About Greg Schmitt
After a decade producing events and a covid lockdown, I've seen a need for dependable Handymen in the San Diego Area. We have a group of amazingly talented Handymen who are solutions oriented and are people you wouldn't mind having do some work in your house. Go to www.hugehandymansd.com to book and appointment or get a quote.

https://www.linkedin.com/in/hugehandymansd/
We are a collective of experienced, reliable, and solutions-based handymen. San Diego is full of great handymen, but where do you find them? And how do you get them to show up when they say they will? After working on a smaller scale, we decided to solve this problem. We vet the handymen, guarantee their quality of work, and INSURE everyone under a California contractor’s license. Even better, we only do small to medium sized jobs so we don’t get committed to long projects and can meet your needs in a reasonable time frame (and price!). Our friendly staff will make you feel comfortable with us in your space, and most pets like us too!
Guiding PrinciplesDependability: We are committed to being the reliable choice for all your handyman needs, ensuring that we show up when promised and deliver quality work every time.
Communication: Open and transparent communication is at the heart of what we do. We keep you informed every step of the way, from project assessment to completion. If we deem a project is out of our wheel house, we have great referrals for you as well!
Customer-Centric Approach: Your satisfaction is our priority. We tailor our services to meet your unique needs and strive to exceed your expectations with every project. Not every project goes as planned, but we will do whatever it takes for a 5 star experience.
Mission StatementIn an industry where unreliability is the norm, we stand as a beacon of dependability. Our unwavering commitment is to deliver not just quality work, but a service experience marked by reliability, trustworthiness, and a departure from the stereotypical 'flakey' handyman. We aim to be the reliable partner you can consistently count on for all your residential and commercial needs, providing a level of service that instills confidence and sets a new standard of excellence in the industry.

Your Design Team
Brittany & Letia have been working as a dynamic design team since 2017, with over 25 years of experience in the interior design and project management fields between them, each bringing their unique backgrounds and expertise to their clients.
Their shared vision is to bring personalized function and beauty to every project, as they walk their clients through the remodel process. We follow a successful stepped process to identify each client's unique design needs, perspectives and requirements. This puts you, the Client, in the center of the project seeing your new space come to life.
Understanding how the clients use their home, the flow of their daily lives and how they want their home to ultimately feel, allows Brittany & Letia to create a design that will cater to their client's, needs and preferences. The process B Home Design uses minimizes disruptions and inconveniences and we continually communicate progress on your remodel. Since we work on just one project at a time, know you are our only focus.
