I will recommend the book, Of Mice and Men written by John Steinbeck. This book tells a story happened on George and Lennie. After drifting from Weed, George and his simple-minded friend Lennie found work on a ranch in California’s Salinas Valley. They had a dream of having a couple acres of land which will cost them 600 dollars. However, Lennie’s gigantic strength and child-like intelligence brought them troubles over and over again. At last, Lennie accidentally killed the farmer’s daughter-in-law. George in order to protect Lennie from the lynching used by rancher’s son Curley, shot and killed Lennie.
