I told Liz to apply to jobs instead of waiting around. She did, then got a lot of job offers. Cam talks about his trips to and out of Oregon state and his state of mind. Jules talks about popcorn and Bible Sword drills but mainly......
Don't do Drugs kids!!!!
Right after this was recorded I heard a story about two people who took mushrooms in the mountains outside of Seattle and one kept falling over all happy like and died and a friend who drank some mushroom tea and thought the devil was hanging out with them. Anyways don't do it unless your brain is really scrambled then do it and also just change jobs or careers. Yes now is a good time. I can give career advice and the guy with the radio show gives bad finance advice anyways. In this country you have to have credit cards etc to have credit. Change your job and laugh more and happiness is a choice. Most of the time. -
Did you have group open showers in Uni? We did. Ben speaks Portuguese but instead of speaking it we briefly discuss the history of and then talk about our very organized and unrecorded college pranks and thankfully left out the dry ice bombs. Vintage Conan sketches We drank Dark O' The Moon Pumpkin Stout by Elysian and Huckleberry Cream Ale. Laughing Dog Brewery.

The Ramblers with Dave Ramsey and friends launches a new Season, it gets funny and funnier as it goes along and NO, no disturbing rappers were interviewed and or allowed to speak in the making of this podcast. Joking around aside there is an attempt to shed a little light on the darkness that is the Anti Asian Hate in the USA that seems to be getting worse. More sadness ensues when discussing the insane belief we all have in the American Dream when we can't even keep the power on or bridges up when a stiff wind blows. Insanity. Netflixes 'The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel' and Showtime's 'Supervillain: The Making of Tekashi 69', yes I watched all 3 episodes of that strange man child. Discussed and then we end up going deep into a drive to the grocery store when the discussion because very very a lighters shade of pale. White Talk on TikTok?

This episodes artwork is brought to you be the guest on this episode. Andy, You can find her work on her instagram at @andythakid We Ramble on learning Chinese and speaking it badly along with not discovering female body parts in Catholic School. We've all been there. Don't call us liberal or libertarian. Can I just say that it's comical how the American economy is so dependent upon going out to eat and consuming everything in it's path. Amazes me that so many people celebrate places staying open in the midst of a pandemic when they have no financial connection to it other than their slovenly lazy natures. It's an ouroboros dependent economy of gluttony and consumption. Take Care, follow us on theramblerscast on Instagram and @theramblers on Facebook

This is therapy for you. Come commiserate with a British Immigrant and I as we try to survive this mad mad world. Paul ran a magazine and now a restaurant outside of Chicago and many years ago I took photos and wrote a dandy of a hilarious column for him. We try to find hope in the cornucopia of chaos and anxiety as we talk about how great America can be for immigrants but the idea of American Exceptionalism is being obliterated as we speak and how we need smart, businesses minded immigrants to keep the economy going. Know one thing. Foreign students pay triple what the average American pays. Not to mention all the money they spend in this country and our customs and border control treats everyone like crap. Trust the BBC and enjoy the good news. You don't have to share it on social media. There is laughter as well. We promise. Recorded today but relevant tomorrow and years from now. Enjoy. Police stories from China and the US and his journey from feeling out of place and disenfranchised in the jingoistic American Church to embracing the structure of Catholicism. And growing up in China we don't feel comfortable being in the majority in the States. 3rd Culture kids.

Alcohol To go! What's with the Blue Angles and Nic Cage is Joe Exotic! There are chapters to skip around some if ya like. Velvet Taco 🌮 booze to go.

Maybe a bit of Tiger King voices with Jackie and launching a bakery biz with Akina and preparing her to cry for her shark tank moment and a lot of how people of Target are all right next to each other without masks on and how shopping Asian grocery stores are the way to go in a pandemic with Aiden in Houson. Very clean and not a lot of people in there and they all have masks on. Go to H Mart and why is Westworld getting so boring.

Guillermo owns a Restaurant and we talk about the short term and long term ramifications of a temp closure (End of April) or otherwise. What are the options? It is hard to comprehend but it is happening to millions of people. Is Andrew Yang Right? One would be for owners not to have to pay State Taxes this month among others and then we transition to movies and shows to watch while you are stuck at home since we both have a filmmaking background.
-
Why is the toilet paper the first to go in a crisis? We get to the bottom of it or actually the bottom of how to turn a buck into high priced TP for kids in Ausitn and Brooklyn. Thailand has clean toilets. Jagged Little Pill on Broadway destroys my childhood and much more about using the restroom in Nepal, India and Thailand.
-
Jokes and Judging family and friends for their differing perspectives while we talk about books and how you should not judge your friends and fam for differing perspectives. Music be MansionAir. HBO's The Outsider make an appearance and the books are The Night Circus and The Bookshop of Yesterdays
