On this episode of The Movie Podcast, Daniel and Shahbaz sit down in Toronto with Aaron Pierre (Mufasa) and Kelvin Harrison Jr. (Taka aka Scar) of MUFASA: THE LION KING. The film is a prequel and sequel to the 2019 remake of the 1994 film The Lion King. Told in flashbacks, the story introduces Mufasa as an orphaned cub, lost and alone until he meets a sympathetic lion named Taka—the heir to a royal bloodline.
