Today we have the pleasure of sitting down and chatting with Samantha Peszek, a former silver medalist from the 2008 Women’s Olympic Gymnastics team, a female entrepreneur, sports broadcaster, motivational speaker, and women’s mental health advocate. We dive into Samantha’s start into gymnastics as a 2 year old child and when she made the commitment to strive for making the Olympics. Samantha talks about the mentality that she had to have to make it to the highest level of the sport, and how those mentalities have influenced her professional and personal life outside of gymnastics. We ask Samantha about the “why” behind her starting Beam Queen Bootcamp, and the journey and unique challenges of starting her own business and becoming an entrepreneur. Samantha explains how she was able to eventually get into broadcasting, and how she had to transition her mindset into shifting some things in her career and life to allow her to chase after another passion.
