I am back from the casual crew seats and once again have made it to the tippy-top of the hosting chair in this week's episode. With a dearly missed Ross, we have Miles and Kat back alongside Sean for the second week running - aren't you lot lucky? Assassin's Creed: Shadows is out there, in the shadows of Facebook Marketplace so be diligent in avoiding those spoilers for a whole month.
Miles breaks down the plethora of what he's been playing courtesy of Steam Next Fest, whilst trying not to break down himself. Sean and Kat meet eye to eye with Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, and I cry and rage at the extent of how much Phasmaphobia scares the pants off me.
All of that and more in this subtly chaotic podcast where we try not to let on that it's late, but I think we failed.

This week on the pod it's only Miles and Rossko so the famed duo talk everything they've missed (sorry it's a little late) ahead of Sony's State of Play that's totally happening after they finish recording. Ugh.
Still, it's not all doom and gloom as the sexiest duo in the podcast game discuss Elden Ring Nightreign's release date, Alan Wake 2 finally seeing green in the profits and our main topic for the night, the PSN outage and how it created a band of demanding little entitled turds to start throwing their weight around demanding the world from Sony. Are they right? Will the demand for free stuff for a minor inconvenience ever cease? Why do Sony even bother at all?
Thankfully despite the outage we still managed to play a ton of games this week with Rossko checking out Two Point Campus with the console mods, a little bit of Far Cry New Dawn and the Monster Hunter Wilds beta whilst also learning the true nature of Tropico in Tropico 5 and Miles has been playing Gori: Cuddle Carnage, a whole lotta Phasmophobia on console along with the almighty Stanley Parable Deluxe Edition and Blood Bar Tycoon. Oh, and Miles also talks his progress so far in Civilization VII. GAMES!

The Finger Guns Podcast rumbles on and this week we're talking EA's downfall, downsizing at Ubisoft and, in some most grateful good news, the Xbox Developer Direct. Plus, Hogwarts Legacy, the Sonic movie trilogy, lies our parents told us as children and the recently announced Oscar nominations. We're all annoyed about that last one.

The Switch 2 is here! Well, kinda. Nintendo have officially revealed their brand new console and we break down each little bit to talk what's to come, speculate on launch titles and price. Ooh, it's exciting. Hey we're back! It's 2025 and The Finger Guns Podcast returns with the almighty Metacritic Predictions episode. If you're new to the pod this is where we go through an exhaustive list of games currently scheduled for release in 2025 and we predict their Metacritic scores. This week there's not a ton of news but we can get into Fortnite's very first map returning in a permanent mode next month, the Grammy for Best Video Game Soundtrack have been announced and we talk who we want to win and who we think will win and we talk scalpers struggling to sell their PS5 Pro's because they're so readily available everywhere. Welcome everyone to another instalment of The Finger Guns Podcast, slightly different this episode as it's me, Josh, taking over the podcasting duties this week. Rossko has had an injury which has meant a short stay at the hospital over the weekend; he's fine overall but maybe send him some well wishes to show he's missed!
And boy have we missed him. With me hosting you've got a slightly chaotic and chopped up intro to start but we bring it all back for the news. Insomniac Games have confirmed no more Spider-Man 2 content, God of War's TV show for Amazon Prime is doing a U-turn and oh yeah, we talk about Xbox's Partner Preview that went down last week.
I also get to eat some humble pie with Miles' game of the week and we've had a ball with this month's Steam Next Fest. I'm sorry but maybe you're also welcome for this week's episode. Enjoy!
