  • Singer/Songwriter Valerie Bailey has worked with forBabyface, Gladys Knight, BeBe and CeCe Winans, Toni Braxton, Steve Tyrell, Milli Vanilli, Jeffrey Osborne, Luther Vandross and on the European leg of Whitney Houston’s Bodyguard tour. She became a member of the legendary vocal group The Fifth Dimension, taking the spot of the famed Marilyn McCoo.

Valerie is married to legendary Earth, Wind & Fire singer/songwriter Philip Bailey and is celebrating the release of her long-awaited debut album, tentatively (and ironically) titled Greatest Hits, featuring eight originals co-written with the recording’s producer, industry veteran Barry Coffing, and fully-lit, funky and hard rockin’ re-imaginings of Jimi Hendrix’s “Fire” and The Who’s “Won’t Get Fooled Again.” Working with a studio crew that included legendary session and touring musicians Lee Sklar (bass) and Michael Landau (guitar), she offers an infectious blend of raw emotion and inviting sensuality she calls soul/rock.

In this interview, Valerie discusses the intracies of navigating the music industry, her experiences of intentionally living outone’s dreams by God’s Grace and the formation of her “I Found Me” organization.

  • This Third Edition of The EntreMusician Podcast “Monday Music Corner,” sponsored by Stage Dive showcases outstanding music written and produced by members of our thriving community.

From Edmonton, Alberta, Thomas “The Voice” Alexandershares the historic story of his ancestors’ migration from Texas & Oklahoma to Canada and the experiences involved. He also talks about staying strong in the music game at the ripe young age of 75! His beautiful rendition of “Alberta Blue” is a treasure!

Also from Canada, in Toronto, Songwriter / a Capella Vocalist Anna Nicholson discusses her incredible collaboration with FIN-SGOTBEATZ, Liberty Silver and Dennis D-Menace on her new single “I Feel It” and her plans to expand her unique genre.

Singer Songwriter, Musician Blair White composes and posts a song a week on Facebook and has been doing so for the past 4 years! He shares his affinity for consistency and what keeps him inspired. His song “It Takes Me Down Again” is produced by fellow EntreMusician Nenad Cvetičanin.

Jazz Violinist & Composer, Darrell Looney is a founding member of The EntreMusician who shares his advice to Artists on the importance of Metadata organization and provides us an opportunity to groove to his collaboration with smooth jazz legend Bob Baldwin. The single is called “For The Sake of The Art.”
