Brief Bio: Josh’s journey into action shooting began on a quiet trip to the local gun shop, when he heard one of the employees mention an IDPA match scheduled that weekend. He gave it a shot and hasn’t looked back since. He soon took on the added challenges of USPSA competition, becoming hooked on the faster shooting, higher-round-count stages and more strategic problem solving. This eventually led to 3-gun, which is now his primary focus. Josh currently holds National and World Championship titles in 3 Gun Nation, Lucas Oil Shotgun and IPSC World Shotgun and is an avid USPSA, Action Shotgun and 3 Gun Competitor. Outside of his shooting career he is a sales professional and devoted family man.

THE ARMY MARKSMANSHIP UNITBased at Ft. Benning in Georgia, the USAMU is renowned for taking young shooters and developing them into National and World Champions in a variety of disciplines. Michel’s prominence in the Practical Shooting arena made him a top recruit for the USAMU’s Action Pistol Team and in 1999 he began his career as an Army shooter and trainer. During his 10 year US Army career, Staff Sergeant Michel’s duties included serving as the Military Coach of the Action Pistol Team. He was also responsible through his training programs for insuring the combat readiness of soldiers fighting the Global War on Terrorism. Utilizing his vast competitive shooting experience, Michel developed one of the most dynamic training programs for today’s soldier and elite warrior.

Deal operates full time as the founder and lead instructor of Zero Points Down Academy (ZPD) in South Africa. ZPD is a bespoke training operation catering for Police mandated training of citizens on all small arms as well as advanced levels of sport shooting, including precision long-range shooting. He is the IDPA State Coordinator for the Cape Province in South Africa and a keen Sport Shooter. In 2020 he founded the SAFE CITIZEN Campaign www.safecitizen.co.za – a civil rights group concerned with the safety of South Africans who daily face escalating and brutal crime. Writing on Travel and Tourism, his book, Timeless Karoo was published in 2007, and as a freelance journalist and photographer, he also writes for various publications, including the Rhodes Business School website and the Daily Maverick. Jack Shepard is a former Marine Corps Counterintelligence Specialist with eight years of service, specializing in anti-terrorism and force protection. His military career took him around the world, where he gained expertise in counterintelligence operations (CI/HUMINT), Advanced Firearms Training, surveillance and counter-surveillance, and anti-terrorism force protection operations. After transitioning out of the military, Jack applied his skills as an industrial designer, spending over a decade creating innovative, user-focused products and programs. He has spent his life carrying a firearm for the U.S. government. T.C. first served as an Army Infantry officer, Explosive Ordnance Disposal officer, before leaving the Army to accept an appointment as a Special Agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). He spent the next 20 years working in all areas of investigative interest within the FBI, and served for several years as an instructor in the FBI’s Firearms Training Unit in Quantico, VA. T.C. holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminology, as well as a Masters of Education in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies. As a published writer, T.C. has written an innovative book on the topic of improving law enforcement deadly force training, as well as having written for several print magazines on the areas of law enforcement procedures, explosives, firearms and edged weapons. Among T.C.’s personal achievements, he has been awarded the U.S. Army’s highest peace-time award for heroism, the Soldier’s Medal. Currently Mike Seeklander is owner of Shooting-Performance LLC (www.shooting-performance.com), a full service training company and the American Warrior Society. Mike is also the co-host of The Best Defense, the Outdoor channels leading firearm instructional show.
Previously, Mike was Chief Operating Officer, Director of Training and a Senior Instructor at the U.S. Shooting Academy in Tulsa, Ok. He was directly responsible for the development of all U.S.S.A. training programs.
Prior to that as an employee of the Federal Government, Mike has served as the Branch Chief and Lead Instructor for the Firearms division with the Federal Air Marshal Service as well as a Senior Instructor at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC).
He has extensive formal training and experience in all phases of military and law enforcement training. Mike is a highly sought after tactical and competitive trainer and a high level performer on the competition handgun circuit. Currently a nationally ranked competitor on the practical handgun competition circuit, Seeklander has authored/produced instructional books, DVD’s and has developed hundreds of lesson plans specifically related to basic and advanced firearms training.
As a local law enforcement officer with the Knox County Sherriff’s Department as well as the Knoxville Police Department mike worked in corrections as well as patrol and with the Organized Crime division.
In 1990 Mike joined the United States Marine Corps and was trained as an Intelligence Specialist with Top Secret clearance. Mike is a combat veteran of Desert Storm/Shield (Gulf war 1). He holds secondary MOS’s of Combat Engineer and Primary Marksmanship Instructor.
Mike is the recipient of numerous awards and honors in the law enforcement community, and as a semi-professional shooter.

He is admitted to practice law in Tennessee, Florida, and Texas. Paul currently works in the field of government relations. In September 2015, Paul published “Pivot Points: Creating A Culture Of Preparedness And Resiliency In America.” Paul examines the current state of the preparedness movement and suggests various strategies to inculcate a preparedness mindset into American culture. His first book, “Bracing for Impact: A Practical Guide for Preparing for Disaster,” came out in 2011. Kerry “Kato” Murakami, the founder of Rectitude Training, LLC, is devoted to training law enforcement and the civilian defender. Kerry is a retired law enforcement officer from the State of Illinois and has spent all twenty eight years in the patrol division. He initially became a defensive tactics instructor and field training officer in 1995, a firearms instructor in 2003 and finally a scenario based instructor in 2014. As a martial artist, Kerry received his black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu from Professor Mark Vives of New Breed Training Center in 2019. As co-lead of his department’s scenario based training program and lead instructor of his department’s combatives club Kerry is able to use his skills to create, update, and implement training programs on the range and in the mat room. He has also consulted with outside law enforcement agencies on creating and updating training programs, including their agency's combatives/jiu-jitsu clubs. In early 2021 Rectitude Training, LLC became a preferred provider to Intergovernmental Risk Management Agency (IRMA), one of the largest risk pools in the Chicagoland area. The goal is to increase frequency and consistency of Defensive Tactics/Combatives training while reducing Officer’s and suspect's injuries.
