For some time now I have been studying the economics of development.
Economic development and economic growth are fundamental concepts in understanding the performance of an economy and I did my best to explain the Nigerian climate in this episode.
My main purpose is to drive value addition, the consumer market and in turn drive real estate investments. -
I talked about how urbanization and population are causing city expansions with their effects. Also encouraged investors to position for the next coming move in prices.

With an economy almost running on just oil generated revenue, fluctuations in other sectors to a large extent will mirror that of the oil sector.
90% of Nigeria's exports are oil based, 70% of government revenue is from crude oil sales.
In 2016, the country was the 15th largest oil producer in the world, it has the 11th largest oil reserve and 9th largest natural gas reserve in the world.
In this podcast episode, I expressed my thoughts on subsidy, public infrastructure, external reserves, exchange rate, purchasing power, inflation and how they all combine to affect real estate held in their sphere of influence. -

The patterns and trends which these discussions will reveal will somewhat prepare budding investors for the next peak. -

Banditry so far is challenging the foundations upon which our civilization stands.
The existence of our cities and our ability to survive is threatened and the economic well being of the larger population has shown to be the root cause of these agitations.
Agriculture and surplus food production from which our civilization built it's base is at the forefront of being destroyed.
We can hide in our castle but for how much longer. -

He currently works as a Real Estate Analyst with CWRE, a member of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuer (NIESV) and holds a Bachelor of Science degree focused in Estate Surveying and Valuation from the University of Nigeria. -

With a Focus on short-lets among other facilities; drive-through mall, restaurants, coworking and co-living spaces, Mr Emeka have been promoting the benefits of investing in commercial real estate in Nigeria over the last 8 years.
He has been a guest at several podcast and real estate investment related interviews where he expounds on the notion of investing in the Nigerian commercial real estate space.

Holds a bachelors degree in Estate Management from the University of Nigeria. Graduating top of his class, he also doubles as the best student in valuation.
He presently works with a real estate services company in Lagos, Nigeria with specialty in valuation, market analysis and property investment advisory.
With experience which cuts across construction, property management and other specialty area of the real estate sector, he creates information products for the real estate market and businesses in general, speaks/teaches on the REAL ESTATE MONEY PODCAST with several other digital products at development stage.
