In previous Tafsir videos, we discussed three of the commands God issued to the believers to conclude the lessons of Surah Al Imran. Patience is your refuge to overcome inner vices
and struggles and to stay on the straight path. Being prepared, on guard, and more steadfast than your enemies is the key to victory on military and intellectual battlegrounds.
The final command in this aya is to "be mindful of God," from the Arabic ??????? (Taqwa.) -
The hospitality industry is focused on welcoming and pampering guests during their stay. There are different hotel star ratings depending on the experience and budget of the hotel's owners. On one of my journeys, we stayed at a luxurious five-star hotel in San Francisco; my colleagues told me, "This wonderful establishment is a mark of human greatness." I replied: "Look at what humans have prepared for other humans; how great must be what God has prepared for the believers?"
