One of the most ignored concepts in business in my experience is positioning. I mean, people know of positioning, but they don't practice it well. Why? For one, it's scary, because it goes against common sense in many ways.
In this episode, I talk about a principle from my upcoming book/booklet (let's see what it becomes).
I call this principle Carve Out Your Space And Own It.
It's about the importance of discovering where you should space, and how to show up and lead within that space.

I'd be the first to admit my headline sounds a bit cocky and that I might have more to learn from you than you have to learn from me.
However, I decided to challenge myself with a question. If my life depended on it, if someone held a gun to my head and told me I must make your business thrive, what would I do?
I came up with six non-negotiable principles I have come to believe are decisive for your growth and success.
If you have been reading or watching my content before, you might know that I am passionate about helping entrepreneurs turn their potential into greatness. I believe strongly in entrepreneurship as a force for positive change in the world. I wish more people would turn their talents into thriving businesses and move the world forward.
So why do so few create something extraordinary? Why do so few even break even?
Over my 20+ year career, I have had the privilege to work with thousands of people, and I have come to learn what the biggest obstacles to growth and prosperity are.
So I asked myself, what are the most important ways in which I could help ANY entrepreneur and business succeed? Could I?
In a nutshell, here is what I would do to ensure that you would achieve great success. To be clear, we would not work on all things at once, but these principles would work as the checklist to ensure you reach your dreams.

In this episode, which I shot in a garden in the south of Portugal (also available on my YouTube channel) I share my creative process. It's a process I developed through trial and error over the years, and I have come to learn that this process never fails me. I mean, coming up with great ideas is not easy. But I find that by having a framework for feeding your mind, then cross-pollinating insights and ideas will lead to an infinite amount of ideas, some of which are crap, and some of which are original and useful.

Brand consulting needs a serious upgrade.
Let's be real.
What used to work in "brand-building" does not work as well today.
And the majority of the industry fails to make a decent living.
I've been in this space for almost 15 years, and I've seen enough to say that it's time we stop doing it the old way...
Brand strategy followed by "branding", a.k.a brand communications (visuals, messaging etc.) is simply not enough in a 2022 environment.

Lately, I've had many discussions where it turned out that LACK OF ALIGNMENT was the problem.
When we feel aligned with who we are and the future we want to create, we tend to feel motivated, inspired, confident, and excited about our lives.
And the opposite is also true. When we feel out of alignment, well, our lives don't feel all that exciting. We get stuck; we get anxious, bored, we feel miserable, even depressed.
Alignment, it turns out, is a BIG part of what makes us happy and fulfilled, or miserable.
