Happy first Monday of the month, my favorite kind of Monday! It’s the perfect time to hit that reset button and dive into the last month of the year with intention. For many of us working moms, this season brings year-end reviews—a task that often feels daunting. Today, we’re tackling how to make the review process easier while showcasing your accomplishments with confidence.
This episode is all about flipping your mindset, reframing how you approach self-advocacy, and making your year-end review a tool for recognition, growth, and success and we’re doing so by breaking down the quote…. “Don’t sell yourself short!”

Here’s how to embrace your value and prepare for a stellar year-end review:
✨ Create a “Wins List”: Spend 15 minutes writing down everything you accomplished this year.
✨Practice Confident Language: Rewrite one or two of your accomplishments using bold, action-oriented phrases.
✨Celebrate One Win: Pick one achievement you’re proud of and share it with a friend, family member, or mentor.

Write them down, say them out loud, or even just think about them for a moment. They don’t have to be big—anything from a beautiful sunrise to a warm hug or a smooth commute counts. By the end of the week, you’ll have a list of things that brought you joy, even on the busiest days.

Learn how detaching from work each day and embracing the idea of “good enough” can help you show up fully for yourself and your family and help you create that work-life balance you deserve!
💖 My challenge for you this week mama’s is for you to start embracing “good enough” and detaching from work at the end of each day. At the end of each workday, take a moment to appreciate what you did accomplish. Write down one thing you’re proud of from today, no matter how big or small. Then jot down the top three tasks or priorities for tomorrow and lastly create a closing ritual to signal to your mind and your body that the work day is over!

As working moms, we’re constantly juggling work, kids, household responsibilities, and endless to-do lists. It’s easy to fall into the trap of putting ourselves last, thinking we’ll get to self-care when things calm down, not keeping up with our annual Dr visits, going to physical therapy to handle that constant pain you’re dealing with or simply just taking time for yourself to do something that lights you up! But let’s be real—life never really slows down, does it? In this episode, we’ll explore the simple yet vital concept of wellness and why it’s non-negotiable.
💖 My challenge for you this week mamas, schedule scheduling 15 minutes of wellness time every day. And I mean, actually put it on your calendar, just like you would a meeting or an appointment This could be anything that makes you feel good. Taking a walk, even if it's walking your dog at night. Reading a book prepping a healthy lunch for the next day, or simply just sitting in silence with your thoughts.

But here's the thing: we're not just working to get by. We're working to create a life that’s filled with purpose, love, and real connection. In this episode, we’re diving into into this quote by Dolly Parton: “Don't Get So Busy Making A Living That You Forget To Make A Life.”
💖 My my challenge for you this week mamas, I want you to pick one thing each day that helps you remember why you’re working so hard in the first place. It can be something simple. Maybe it’s taking a break from emails to sit down and play with your kids, or maybe it’s stepping outside for a few minutes and taking in some fresh air just for yourself. Whatever it is, let it be something that’s just about making life a little bit sweeter, a little more connected. At the end of the week, take a few minutes to think about how it felt to make that time—did it change how you saw your days? Did it bring a little more joy, or a little more peace?
