There is not a lot that needs to be said about this episode - it is aimed at a very particular cohort (haven't we heard a lot about that word in the countless medical updates and press conferences, during the pandemic?!) - medical students, studying onshore (here in Australia) and who complete the final year of their course in 2021.
David Bongiorno takes you through his tips and tricks, so that you have no hiccups as you progress from student, to fully-fledged medical professional. Congratulations on completing your study, and for doing so in such an extraordinary period in our history!

David and Grant are joined for this episdoe by Sara Bogdanovic, who has arrived in Australia from Serbia, via the circuitous route via Zimbabwe and then to New Zealand.
What was it like to be white non-English speakers in the post-colonial Zimbabwe?
What are the similarities and differences between Australia and New Zealand, through the eyes of Balkan Europeans who have settled in Africa?
This is a fascinating view of life in the Antipodes.

Our Guest today is Belle Lim, the current President of the Council of International Students Australia. Belle is undertaking a Doctorate studying cancer genomics, working part time (as just about all of our International students do!) AND undertaking advocacy work and policy advice on behalf of the 700,000 students from all over the world who choose to study in Australia.
Supremely capable and organised, Belle has some very considered opinions about the current state of the 'education industry' in Australia, and how the students that form her constituency now view Australia, in light of the response to students and other temporary residents, as the Covid-19 pandemic and lockdowns gripped Australia.
There are some confronting messages for Australia - the policy makers and beneficiaries of the education economy - and the wider community. "We" could benefit from some serious self-reflection as we slowly return to 'Covid normal', as we may have caused ourselves seriou, ongoing damage.
If you want to follow Belle in her endeavours, you can find her on LinkedIn. Here's a helpful link.
