TO IMAGINATION
In one of her poems, Bronte wanted to convey that imagination is separate but also a part of ourselves. I liked this poem the most as I try to decipher what I really want in life. How about you? What would you say to your own imagination?

5/5. This was the last poem I posted last year. Honestly, there's so much more that needs to be done. I wonder if I can do it all. I think I am too much into the business of starting and pausing, I wonder if I'll ever be consistent enough (not for others, but for me). Is that how serendipity starts?
Feel free to check out my YouTube channel to hear the poems first, but I'll be back next month for a new season of poetry readings.

The fourth poem from last year. Almost there! If you're ready to read the rest ahead of time, feel free to visit my channel in YouTube. That would be the greatest.
I honestly still don't know what failure is at this point, or if success is easier to define. I have no idea of the processes in between as well. I think there was a point where I didn't bother looking for any of it, and then a time when I looked to far and swallowed myself in the process.

The third poem from last year. We're halfway there! If you're ready to read the rest ahead of time, feel free to visit my channel in YouTube. That would be amazing.
I am loving myself, or at least learning how to. If you've known me from last year then you know that I did that job very poorly. Honestly, I've yet to understand if I am finally decent at it. But I would like to be. So here's 'love, again'.

The second poem from last year. If you're ready to read the rest ahead of time, feel free to visit my channel in YouTube. That would be amazing.
Fate has always been a tricky thing. For a while, all I wanted was to believe in it and follow whatever is in the horizon. But life will only take you so far before you can have something called fate. Is it even something you can have? There are two ways to life, chasing fate or letting fate. Maybe, both of them ain't so bad. What do you think?

I'm back. Actually, I've been lurking around, and this poem has actually been ready since last year, and was actually posted first in the YouTube channel.
I have newer poems that reflect more recent experiences, but I couldn't put out the ones that I've done without including the poems in between. Trust me when I say that a lot has been written in the past couple of months, but the change was also momentous. This year has been a transition in so many ways. I'm ready to change with it.

It has always made me sad (and yes, a little bit bitter) that female writers aren't quite recognized as most writers. For the last month of year, December 2020, we will be reading poetry by the great Elizabeth Barrett Browning. I've read most of her poems during high school. It seemed just fitting to look back this year with this poet. We all need some Browning to end this year. Let's listen to the last poem of the month: "How do I love thee?". Read by yours truly, here's a poem for your morning exercise or evening blues.
Poetry Reading on WEDNESDAYS. See you next week!
POET OF THE MONTH
Who is Elizabeth Barrett Browning? An English poet in the Victorian era, she has always been amazing. Fun fact about her: She has been writing since she was eleven. She's best known for her love poems, sonnets in Portuguese, and Aurora Leigh. What did you think about this week's poem? The year's ending in just a few more hours and we read one of the most famous poem's in literature. Amazing, right? So let me ask you this: What is love to you?
I'll see you next year for another set of poems!
Have a good year,
M.
