We really loved the story about the kids in the cave surviving due to meditation. They were taught by their coach and they were able to stay well until help got them out of there. We want this to be taught to our kids in schools. Does your kid have a free period? Maybe learn some mindfulness stuff to help them on their journey of life. One thing is certain though, we can't keep doing the same thing while expecting a different result.

WE'RE BACK! Joe describes his life as a scout. We talk about the homerun derby and how exciting Bryce Harper made it. Aaaand the newest Dodger, Manny Machado. Mannywood 2.0. It's the 1st time we actually chat about baseball and how some players know every pitch that is thrown their way. It's God given sometimes. We also found out the boys in the cave survived with the help of meditation.

Joe and Zach share exactly what makes them mentally tough as individuals. They've shared a lot of techniques and styles about this idea, but now they share what they do for themselves to keep them where they want to be. They both share the ideas of positive self talk, affirmations, visualization and meditation. Breathing is also a big aspect for both of them.
Listen to hear what each of them do individually. Everybody is different. Creating new ways of dealing and managing through life is part of it as well. Share your ideas with them if you want.

This week's conversation is about different upbringings with religion and spirituality. This is a powerful episode and you have to go into with an open mind. Joe was brought up with a Christian dad and Baptist Mom. Zach was brought up with a Christian dad and a Jewish mom. Confused?! No. Just be open, and when it comes to exploring religion and spirituality, listen to what they have to say about what resonates with each of them. Hard to describe this episode in such a short paragraph. Enjoy!

We talk about all sorts of help. From movies helping, to others helping, and even how we helped each other when we played together. We as humans crave connection and support. Nobody can do this alone. Humans are the most beautiful creatures on this planet and we need to build each other up. Speak up if you need help. If the person you speak up to doesn't know how to help, ask somebody else. Create a support system and if you don't have one, that's what we're here for!

This week is all about music. Rock, rap, reggae, classic rock, jazz, soul, and even the new age crap. Our special guest, and Life On Pandora music expert, Chad Mozingo gives us his insight on music. He even talks about aliens and Mozart. The 3 of us used to hang out in the back of the bus and make music as a group called BBW. Lots of laughs and memories in this episode.

Joe and Zach share their favorite things about traveling. From Quebec City, Canada to St. Paul, Minnesota. They used to go to the bar and race home on bikes after the game. Dangerous, but fun. Mexico is a top for them both. The food that comes along with traveling. Being able to try new foods and see different cultures is beautiful! Thinking about the future and how amazing the experience will be as opposed to "what if something goes wrong?" can help us experience anything and everything. Joe and Zach had great opportunities and were chasing a dream, but experiences have made them who they are today. Go. Do. Something! And experience some stuff.

Philadelphia has gone crazy! Another Fargo native is going for a championship. Carson Wentz maybe be injured, but Fargo is back! And the city of brotherly love is loving it.
Comparison is a no-no. "Be yourself, everybody else is taken anyways." -Oscar Wilde. Along the way, on your journey to happiness and greatness, you will lose friends, you will be alone, and this is all part of it. Have faith and trust in your abilities and your dreams of getting what you want. You are great, but you have to be the first one to believe it.
The government shutdown has caused us to be a little delirious towards the end. Maybe ESPN will help break down the keys to success on how to get it running again.

Current event week just like back in middle school. Cut an article out of the newspaper and talk about it. Powerball winner expresses his power of positive thinking mindset. We tie that in with Alzheimer's prevention. Also, the feedback we have been getting has been great! We give a few shoutouts to some of our fans and their feedback. And we finally have our first uncomfortable conversation about the H&M controversy.

This episode is all about slowing down. Be still and breathe. Your breath helps oxygenate your body and can easily calm you down. You've heard this before, but put it in to use. Also, meditation will get you in touch with your thoughts and help clear your mind of all the scattered thoughts. Zach likes to journal, and Joe doesn't. Work at your own pace and find out what works best for you. They both like waking up working on their breath, but they both live 2 completely different lives.
