    Transcript:

Did you know there's only three sovereign monarchies in Africa and one of them is an absolute monarchy? And did you know Ethiopians throw lemons at women they want to court? And did you know that in Argentina, barbecues can last even 20 hours?

I'm Caterina, the creator of this brand new podcast, Life Around the World. I've always been a curious person and after living in six countries over three continents, I've been amazed by the diversity of cultures on earth.

So I wondered what better way to learn about them than by listening to the stories of people born and bred within those cultures? For most of us it's not every day that you get a chance to hear from a Swati or a Filipino.

So in each episode of this show, I'll be interviewing a different guest and learning with you about their culture. This exciting journey begins on the 18th of October. Make sure you subscribe on Apple, Spotify or wherever you get your podcasts.

In the meantime, you can follow me on Instagram @lifewroundtheworldpodcast or write me an email with your queries at [email protected] I look forward to traveling the world with you.
