In this episode I am reading to the children stories from the “Jesus calling Bible storybook” by Sarah Young. The Bible stories that she combined together concerning David when he was just a shepherd boy and how God chose him to be the king of Israel. I read about David and Goliath and also about David and his friend Jonathan, king’s Saul’s son. Then I read Psalm 23 and Psalm 100. I wanted the children to hear about David as the king who loves to write poetry, songs and prayers to God. And where they are found written in the Bible, the book of Psalms. I hope you and your children enjoyed hearing about the life of David king David. And like I said if your children have any questions after these lessons please let that be a time where you get to sit down with them and discuss the Bible as a family. But I would still love to hear what their questions are, so leave me a message on my Podcasts page. And Please let me know how God is blessing your family through my podcast messages. Thank you and God bless,

In the episode we give some answers to the questions: Who is God? And what does God look like? We begin our lesson by reading explaining the well know scripture and verse of St. John 3:16. Then we read in 1 John 4:8 and 1 Timothy 6:15-16. From these scriptures we learned about God’s love, his eternal bing, his power and his greatness. I truly hope this lesson is a blessing to you and your children. Please feel free to send me your questions and comments. Your feedback will be helpful. These are recorded teachers so you can go back and listen to them again and again with your children. And if you haven’t heard any of my other podcast they are all available for you at any time. In This episode we are looking at what happened through the week before Easter; and what happened on Easter Day. I want my students to have a good clear picture of why we celebrate Easter. In this lesson we went all the way back to Palms Sunday, to show all the events that happened from that day forward, which led up to Jesus dying on the cross and his resurrection. It is my desire in this lesson, for my students to know what the celebration of Easter Sunday is really all about. And to celebrate with all the saints what Jesus has done for us. In this lesson, we learned the names of Jesus’ 12 disciples. We Learned what happened on Palm Sunday and what happened at the last supper of Jesus with his disciples: what happened when Jesus was arrested; what happened when he was crucified. Then we learned what happened on that first Easter Sunday. I read these lessons to my students from the Bible Storybook, titled “Jesus Calling” by Sarah Young. We close out our classed with the song “Oh magnify the Lord for he is worthy to be praised.” I truly hope that your children will get a chance to hear this podcast before Sunday.
While I’m just posting it today, on “Good Friday” you can tune in at any time of the day and the next, whenever you can. I believe your children will enjoy it and you will too. Podcast is a new venture for me, but I believe that I am doing the Lord work, just as He has given me to do it. So tune again and again and be blessed. May God bless and keep you. -
