This week, we explore "The Church As A Bridge," inspired by 2 Corinthians 5:16-21.
The church is not merely a gathering place but a bridge for reconciliation, connecting people to God and to one another. Paul’s teaching in 2 Corinthians emphasizes that through Christ, we are new creations, called to the ministry of reconciliation. This means breaking down barriers and building bridges that lead others to God’s purpose for their lives. The church's role is to guide people from a life of judgment and alienation to one of grace and unity with God.
The core message is that, like a bridge connecting two separated places, the church should act as a pathway to God, inviting others to experience reconciliation and transformation through Jesus Christ.
