You don’t have to be a Boymom to be here, you just have to be Relentless.ALL moms are welcome. Are you a mom who is giving it her all, but still feeling like a failure.A mom who is feeling burnt out, and wondering how you got here.A mom who desperately desires the best for her kids, but is finding it’s to the detriment of her own time and self care.Do you find yourself craving adult interaction, but you feel too guilty leaving to do something for you? I’ve been there, and honestly, I still find myself there at times. I’m actually working my way back from loneliness, and I’d love to walk alongside you. Whether you have one child or 10, this is the place for you. As I navigate having a son getting married while homeschooling a middle schooler, I want to share my life with you. I will to share what I learned as a new mom, and all the things I thought mattered so much back then. I will share what I am learning now as I navigate old and new seasons of life. I will share how important prayer is, and I will teach you how to pray over your husband and kids . . . And yourself!Besides praying daily for my boys, teaching them what God says about masculinity is so important to me. I don’t want my boys learning from tv or movies what it means to be masculine. I am continually searching God’s Word for stories and verses to share with my boys on what GOD says about being a man. No, they don’t have to be the star quarterback, but they do have to have courage and integrity. Some of the stories I share will make you laugh, all of them will make you think. Each episode will be a piece of my heart to encourage you, whether it be me and my “gift of gab”, or a friend sharing her story. All of it is with you in mind. All of it is to encourage you that YOU are one fantastic mama and YOU are doing an amazing job. I am so proud of you. I love you, my dear friend. Now let’s grow together! Even if you’ve “failed” in the past, it is NEVER too late. Just remember . . . You don’t have to be a Boymom to be here - You just have to be Relentless 😁💙

Welcome to “5-Minute Parenting: Tips to Help You Raise Competent, Godly Kids.” I’m your host, Sandra Kay Chambers. I’m a wife, mother, children’s author and former teacher with a Masters Degree in Learning Disabilities. In this podcast, I will be sharing parenting tips from both a practical point of view and a biblical worldview. As parents we are our child’s first and foremost teacher, supporter and encourager. We are called to meet their physical, emotional, mental and spiritual needs. As we attempt to do all this, our primary goal is to help them understand that they are loved by us and a God who has uniquely created them and has a purpose for their life. The 11:38 Podcast is a project I have to tell the stories of people I know who are doing great things in life, ministry, family, and business. These are people I know who I believe as Hebrews 11:38 says, ”the world was not worthy of them.” So I hope this podcast encourages you in your faith and life. My Dad always told me, ”go forward in the name of Jesus.” I hope you enjoy listening and you do the same!
