Ce balado est une production de l’Appui pour les proches aidants, un organisme qui vise à améliorer la qualité de vie des proches aidants du Québec et à faire connaître leur rôle dans toute sa diversité. -
“Finders Grievers” is a podcast about grief, discussing the people we have lost, and the lessons we have picked up along the way. It’s an attempt to unpack the universally felt - rarely discussed - experience of grieving. Each week, host Shohana Sharmin will be sitting down with a guest - writers, comedians, artists - to discuss love, loss, and everything in between. Sometimes they’ll laugh, sometimes they’ll cry a little bit. Both are allowed. Being a full human experiencing the full range of human emotions? Very much allowed here.

The Nude Attitude dream came about when Madeline Gregg realized the shame and taboo nature of sex and all things kinky. Gone are the days where politics, money and sex are not discussed at dinner parties. She decided to start this Nude Revolution with the idea that every body is a bikini body, every body can be sexual and everyone is worthy of such things. With The Nude Attitude baring it all isn't a shocker, it's just viewed as the human body. We will applaud people for revealing skin no matter the body type or skin tone. And above all we will remember consent is mandatory.
Each weekly episode will explore a topic, be it a ‘holey’ topic or a mental health topic. Madeline will feature guests of a variety of backgrounds to bring to light kinks, sexuality, radical body positivity, and hole-some conversations.

Devenir Roger.

Preconceived: Five Stories of IVF and Surrogacy is a collection of conversations with women who had very different experiences going through in vitro fertilization for that one outcome: a baby. Laura went through an IVF journey because of her PCOS diagnosis and a series of miscarriages. Kate went through IVF for a reason not commonly talked about. You'll also hear three surrogacy stories: Heidi was a gestational carrier* twice, working through an agency. Her story demonstrates the unpredictability of the process. Libby was a gestational carrier* for a friend without compensation. These stories dismantle our thinking about conception and parenthood. They also provoke, deepen our understanding, and give aspiring parents suffering with infertility, hope. Join Leila Jerusalem as she discovers more about an often silent struggle for many couples, and IVF, miscarriages, surrogacy and the disappointments and triumphs that go with it.
*Although Heidi and Libby were gestational carriers we refer to them as surrogates in this episode. These two terms are used interchangeably. -
