Steve Monaghan flips the script on innovation culture: experience isn’t a relic—it’s a strategic edge.
As General Partner at FinMir.ai, Limited Partner at True Global Ventures, Independent Non-Executive Director at RAK Bank, and former Chief Digital Officer at both AIA and DBS Bank, Steve brings a cross-industry view forged through decades of deep transformation. From aviation to fintech to AI, he shows how age fuels better questions, sharper pattern recognition, and global insight in a world obsessed with novelty.
Whether he’s building Asia’s first unicorn or designing systems that could restructure entire economies, Steve makes one thing clear: for Gen Xers tired of being underestimated, age isn’t a liability—it’s leverage.
>>Built to Learn, Not to Fit
“I wasn’t hired for my experience. I was hired for the questions I knew how to ask.”
Steve’s journey—from pilot to pricing guru to product architect—was never about titles. It was about learning faster than the system could teach him.
>>From N-O to K-N-O-W
“People don’t fear change. They fear not understanding it.”
Steve shares his framework for flipping resistance into insight. At DBS, it became a model: learning, venturing, capital. The goal? Turn skeptics into innovators.
>>Legacy Is Not a Headline
“This isn’t my next startup. It’s my swing-for-the-fences play.”
Steve’s current project could restructure economies by eliminating capital inefficiencies in payroll and supply chains. It’s big, bold—and designed to help the people most hurt by broken systems.
>>The Advantage of Age in the Age of AI
“Older workers know how to ask better questions. That’s the advantage.”
Forget the ageist myth. Steve explains why mature employees are becoming AI’s secret weapon—and why experience, not just coding, is the multiplier.
>>Mental Health Is Not a Risk Factor—It’s a Design Factor
“You can’t build resilient companies without resilient founders.”
As an investor, Steve supports founders with integrity, grit, and humility. That includes stepping back when needed—and being asked, not judged, for how you feel.

>>Gen Z Doesn’t Want Hierarchy—They Want Honesty
“We need to pick up the pace—and tell the truth.”
Katie breaks down what Gen Z really wants at work: clarity, fairness, and feedback that isn’t sugarcoated. She shares how leaders must shift—fast—or get left behind.
>>The Parenting Playbook That Works at Work
“I don’t lead with answers. I lead with questions.”
As a mom and a manager, Katie shares the same core strategy: focus, simplicity, humility, and curiosity. No, you don’t have to have all the answers. Yes, you still have to listen.
>>Advice for the Anxious Overachiever
“Find your superpower. Build the skill. Then learn how to pivot.”
Katie offers Gen Z three rules for thriving in chaos: develop what makes you valuable, build a true community, and treat change as a skill—not a flinch.
>>The Real Power of Community
“Community isn’t a contact list. It’s people who remember you 20 years later.”
Katie and Vince reflect on what lasting community really means—and how Gen X mastered long-haul relationships before the age of “likes.”

Katie Curry doesn’t follow a path—she redraws the map. In this first of a two-part conversation, we explore her journey from communist Bulgaria to the heart of Wall Street, from technical risk roles to creative leadership. Katie shares how she builds mental toughness, adapts across industries, and leads Gen Z with humor and humility. Through it all, she reminds us that reinvention isn’t something you do once—it’s a muscle you build.
For Gen Xers who know how to change ambitiously, this is reinvention with purpose, not panic.
>>From Bulgaria to the Big Apple
“On that bus in Manhattan, I said—I want to work here one day.”
Katie’s first reinvention wasn’t a job—it was a total life shift. Growing up in a small town under communism, she shares how dreaming big and thinking globally reshaped her trajectory.
>>Credit, Creativity, and Everything in Between
“I’ve led analysts, operators, and creatives. You can’t lead them the same way.”
Katie breaks down how she adapted her leadership style across radically different teams—from rating derivatives to managing editors—and what each one taught her about people and power.
>>Risk Isn’t a Concept—It’s a Practice
“Some of my biggest breakthroughs came from the biggest pivots.”
With a career built around risk—from Citi to S&P to insurance tech—Katie reveals how she balances data and gut instinct, logic and psychology, and why you should never expect certainty before you leap.
>>Fail Fast, Learn Hard
“If you’ve never failed, you’re playing too safe.”
Katie redefines success through her personal KPIs: energy, impact, relationships, and learning. And she makes a strong case for post-traumatic growth—yes, even at work.
>>Leadership with Presence and Punch
“During COVID, my kids watched me lead from our kitchen table. That was my real resume.”
Whether she’s coaching a Gen Z team or raising one at home, Katie leads with clarity, care, and curiosity—and she’s not afraid to be both the strategist and the student.

Forget hot takes and hustle porn—Josh Geballe has built a career on real outcomes, not optics. As a former IBM exec, startup CEO, crisis-tested public leader, and now head of Yale Ventures, he’s navigated every kind of system—and rewired more than a few. In this episode, Josh breaks down what it takes to lead without ego, make career moves without a roadmap, and support innovation without turning it into performance.
For Gen Xers designing careers that are built, not branded, this is substance over soundbites in its purest form.
>>Career Strategy ≠ Life Strategy“I never chased titles. I chased impact—and the challenge that came with it.”
From IBM to a 16-person startup, Josh explains why logic alone doesn’t drive bold moves—and how gut instinct often knows best.
>>Public Sector, Private Resolve
“Nothing in my tech career prepared me for a global pandemic—but it helped me lead through one.”
As Connecticut’s COO, Josh didn’t just manage state operations—he ran its COVID response. He reflects on balancing fear, facts, and forward motion in an impossible time.
>>Yale Ventures: Innovation Without the Ego
“PhDs know how to explain ideas to journals. I help them pitch to the real world.”
Now leading Yale Ventures, Josh shares how he mentors faculty and students to translate research into startups—and how real innovation starts with learning to listen.
>>Startup Lessons That Actually Scale
“Startups taught me how to stretch every dollar. Government taught me how to stretch every second.”
Josh draws on lessons from his software CEO days to modernize systems at scale—without turning leadership into theater.
>>Advice for the Impatient Ambitious
“Your first job? Work for someone you want to become.”
Josh offers Gen X-flavored guidance to early-career MBAs: skip the shiny job titles and find mentors who challenge how you think, not just what you do.

Irina Filippova is not here to perform change—she’s here to live it. From her early career as a Russian diplomat to her current role as COO of a BlackRock-backed energy transition venture, Irina has made a habit of rewriting the rules instead of following them. In this episode, she shares what it really means to be a self-starter in a world obsessed with shortcuts, how real leaders use courage to stay in integrity, and why the most meaningful change begins with inner work.
For anyone who’s tired of career templates and startup posturing, Irina offers something better: a real-time masterclass in designing a life and legacy on your own terms.
>>Built for Change—Literally
“I’ve never inherited a job. Every role, I created from scratch.”
Irina walks us through her journey from UN think tanks to BP’s rebrand to leading energy transition from the ground up—each step a reinvention by design.
>>Courage ≠ Chaos
“Leadership is courage. And courage means staying in integrity.”
Forget the bravado. Irina breaks down why real courage isn’t about reckless risk-taking—it’s about showing up, following through, and walking away when the values don’t align.
>>The Myth of the Unicorn
“We glorify unicorns—and then wonder why leaders burn out.”
Irina calls out the toxic myths in startup culture and shares a grounded vision for building businesses that last longer than a product cycle.
>>Change Starts Inside
“I thought I needed to change the world. Turns out, I needed to change myself first.”
Before she could consult CEOs, Irina had to rewire her own beliefs—thanks to deep inner work at the Jung Institute in Zurich. This is change leadership with a soul.
>>Electrifying a New Industry
“We provide the electric fuel. You focus on logistics. Simple.”
Now COO of Electrata, Irina explains her company’s mission to make clean energy logistics seamless for fleets—so the energy transition doesn’t get stuck in jargon or infrastructure nightmares.

This episode dives into Bond, the new book by Greg Morley—former global DEI head at Moët Hennessy and veteran HR leader at Disney and Hasbro. Vince and Greg unpack the emotional undercurrent of modern work—how a broken culture can push people into burnout and how small moments of recognition can pull them back. With global insight and Gen X clarity, Greg shares what real inclusion looks like on the ground, from Asia to Europe to the U.S. If you’re ready to lead with depth, not just diversity metrics, this conversation is your blueprint.
>>When Belonging Breaks
“There’s a crisis of loneliness at work—and it’s costing us more than we know.”
Greg shares why he wrote Bond and how companies miss the mark when they treat inclusion as a buzzword instead of a survival strategy.
>>From Burnout to Breakthrough
“Once that sense of belonging disappeared, I spiraled into burnout—and then depression.”
Vince opens up about his own career-breaking experience with mental illness, triggering a candid dialogue about what happens when work becomes unsafe, and how fragile even top performers can be without support.
>>Inclusion Starts With the Conductor
“Inclusion isn’t HR’s job—it’s everyone’s job. Especially leaders.”
Greg introduces the five “keys” from his book, including why leadership visibility, emotional presence, and shared stories are more powerful than any KPI.
>>The Myth of a Global Template
“You can’t cut and paste DEI from New York to Hong Kong.”
Drawing from his years across Asia, the U.S., and Europe, Greg explains why inclusive cultures must start with listening, not imposing—especially in diverse regions like Asia where family and collective identity take center stage.
>>Beyond the Culture Wars
“Most people want to feel seen. That’s not woke—it’s human.”
Greg offers a grounded perspective on how to lead through today’s politicized climate without losing sight of what DEI is really about: creating space for people to contribute, grow, and thrive.

Greg Morley isn’t reinventing himself at midlife—he’s been reinventing all along. As a Gen X leader who’s shaped HR and DEI strategy at Disney, Hasbro, and Moët Hennessy, Greg represents the quiet force of a generation that never needed to go viral to make an impact.
>>From Complaint Calls to Corporate Change“80% of the calls were complaints. That’s how I learned to listen—fast.”
Greg started in the trenches and never forgot what real work feels like. That early frontline experience now shapes how he has led global people strategies with heart and head.
>>Gen X Leaders Don’t Wait for Playbooks—They Write Them
“I didn’t plan to be in HR. I planned to understand people.”
Whether designing HR strategy at Hasbro or rewriting DEI systems at Moët Hennessy, Greg leads with insight, not instruction manuals.
>>Diversity Without the Optics
“Rewiring beats rebranding—every time.”
Greg breaks down how he rebuilt DEI from the inside out, ditching the optics for honest structures, tough conversations, and measurable change.
>>Global Insight, Local Action
“Diversity in Cognac, France doesn’t look like diversity in New York. That’s the point.”
From Paris to Hong Kong, Greg’s work proves that inclusion isn’t a one-size-fits-all program. It’s a flexible framework built on understanding where you are—and who you’re there for.
>>Bond: The Book That Calls BS on Performative Belonging
“People don’t want politics. They want to be seen, heard, and valued.”
In his new book Bond, Greg cuts through the noise and reframes inclusion as something human—not hype. This isn’t theory. It’s the Gen X guide to building meaningful connection in work and life.

So you’ve figured out your career isn’t working—now what?
In Part Two, Helen brings in the big guns: her framework for getting unstuck, redesigning with purpose, and navigating the messy middle of change.
We unpack the real reasons people stay stuck, why perseverance isn’t always a virtue, and how to redesign a career that fits who you are now—not who you were five years ago. It’s part psychology, part strategy, and 100% relatable.
Key Highlights of Our Interview:
Three Acts of Career Redesign
“You cannot skip alignment. That’s the inner work—and it’s where most people rush or skip entirely.”
Helen breaks down the phases of Alignment, Redesign, and Transformation—and why each one matters.
Why Strengths Aren’t Enough
“If you only build around your strengths, you’re just building on sand.”
Strengths are great—but without alignment, they won’t carry you through a real change.
Hope Maps and the Myth of the Linear Path
“We confuse a hard day with the wrong direction. That’s where Hope Mapping comes in.”
How visualizing obstacles in advance helps you stick to the right path, not bail on it too soon.
Letting Go of the Career Lie
“We’ve been told perseverance is always noble—but sometimes, quitting is the smarter move.”
A fresh take on what it really means to be “resilient” in your career.

Helen Hanison spent 20 years climbing the ladder in global PR firms. Board-level status, international travel, million-dollar campaigns—on paper, it was a dream. In reality? Not so much. Motherhood collided with management meetings, and suddenly, Helen realized her high-flying career didn’t align with the life she actually wanted.
In Part One, Helen shares her pivot from leading global branding campaigns to guiding leaders out of careers that no longer fit. She opens up about the painful years of career confusion, her psychology degree detour, and how she turned it all into her second act: coaching professionals through career redesign.
Key Highlights of Our Interview:From Global PR to “Wait… What Now?
“I was flying around the world on million-dollar projects and somehow still feeling hollow.”
Why success metrics lose their shine when they’re no longer aligned with your real life.
Motherhood Meets Management
“I was building a family and being promoted at the same time—something had to give.”
When personal change outpaces professional structure, the misalignment can’t be ignored.
The Pain of ‘Unlit’ Work
“I wasn’t unhappy… but I wasn’t lit up either.”
Helen explains the subtle but serious signs that your career isn’t working anymore.
The Accidental Clues to a Future Calling
“I used to take every team member out for coffee and ask them what they wanted next. That was coaching—I just didn’t know it yet.”
Sometimes your next career is hiding in the way you showed up for others in your last one.

While most people treat change like an unwanted software update, Nellie Wartoft builds the system that makes it work.
As the founder of Tiger Hall, she’s on a global mission to turn resistance into results. From Europe to Asia to the U.S., Nellie’s seen it all—and she’s here to share why change isn’t the enemy, but badly handled change definitely is. In this two-part series, we’ll talk about cross-cultural leadership, why change efforts so often crash and burn, and how to make sure yours doesn’t.
Key Highlights of Our Interview
Hating SharePoint and Finding a Better Way
“The inefficiency of tools like SharePoint highlighted a fundamental gap: employees struggling to align with HQ’s vision. Miscommunication bred resistance and fatigue, even when both sides had good intentions. The question arose—why can’t change communication be as engaging as social media or Spotify?”
The Universal Human Side of Change
“No matter where you are in the world, the human psyche reacts similarly to change—fear, chaos, uncertainty, and emotion are universal experiences. Change fatigue and resistance aren’t cultural anomalies; they’re deeply human responses shared across geographies.”
The Ego Factor: A Leadership Killer
“High-ego, high-fear leaders stifle transformation. They resist feedback, take criticism personally, and foster a top-down, do-as-I-say culture. Modern transformation demands collaborative leadership that embraces input, fosters trust, and thrives on dialogue—not outdated command-and-control styles.”
“Short-Term Results vs. Long-Term Vision”
“U.S. organizations prioritize quarterly results and trend-driven decisions, like the AI boom. Meanwhile, Asian companies often take a more measured, long-term approach, rooted in heritage and identity. Both approaches have their strengths but lead to vastly different paces of execution.”

Key Highlights of Our Interview
More Cows Than People: The Swedish Small-Town Origin Story
“Growing up in a small village in southern Sweden—population: lots of cows, not many humans—instilled an early drive to explore bigger horizons. For professional and cultural reasons, leaving was a must.”
The McDonald’s Effect: Discovering Professional Passions
“The guest credits their time flipping burgers at McDonald’s as a pivotal moment in shaping their career. It was there they discovered their love for three key elements: a high-paced environment, the thrill of commercial success, and the art of leadership. These ‘professional addictions’ would become the foundation of every role they pursued.”
Resilience and Identity: Anchoring Yourself Beyond Titles
“Basing your identity on external factors like job titles or status is a risky game—what happens if they’re taken away? Instead, ground your sense of self in unshakable traits: hard work, learning, good intentions, or resilience. These are constants, no matter what life throws your way.”
Life of Adventure vs. Life of Leisure
“Challenging societal norms, the guest recounts a thought-provoking quote: ‘A life of leisure is hell, and a life of adventure and purpose is heaven.’ From childhood, we’re often told to seek rest and relaxation, but the guest argues that purpose and adventure are what truly give life meaning.”

Robert MacPhee didn’t start out teaching values—he started out parking cars. But somewhere between the valet stand and becoming Jack Canfield’s right-hand man (yes, that Chicken Soup guy), Robert found his lane. Now the author of Living a Values-Based Life, he’s guiding people to stop driving in circles and finally align their actions with what truly matters.
In our 2-part series, we dig into the real reason so many of us struggle to name our core values (spoiler: it’s not because we’re lazy—it’s because no one ever taught us how). Robert also breaks down why clarity is the unsung hero of decision-making, and why living out of sync with your values is like following GPS directions with the volume on mute.
Part Two.Key Highlights of Our Interviews:
Why It’s So Hard to Define Our Own Values
“Most people’s initial list of values often reflects what they think others want to hear. We’re so conditioned to impress others or meet external expectations that it’s challenging to pause and ask: What truly matters to me? The real magic begins when we strip away external noise and align with our authentic priorities.”
How a Values-Based Life Can Improve Work
“Clarity about values doesn’t just make personal life better—it’s transformative for work too. Aligning your actions with priorities like contribution or integrity can help you show up fully, even in challenging moments. That alignment makes work feel purposeful instead of draining.”
Do Values Change Over Time? The Short Answer: Yes.
“Values aren’t set in stone—they evolve with life stages and circumstances. For instance, what mattered to you in high school may be worlds apart from what tops your list in your sixties or seventies. Life experiences, like becoming a parent or caring for aging loved ones, naturally shift our focus, making values an ongoing conversation, not a one-time declaration.”
Keeping Values Visible
“The importance of keeping your values front and center can’t be overstated. Whether on your phone, bathroom mirror, or bedside table, revisiting your values regularly keeps them aligned with your current life stage. A daily reminder to reflect, re-anchor, and adjust ensures your values stay relevant.”

Robert also breaks down why clarity is the unsung hero of decision-making, and why living out of sync with your values is like following GPS directions with the volume on mute.
Part One.Key Highlights of Our Interviews:
A Masterclass with Jack Canfield
“I was fortunate to work closely with Jack Canfield, the co-creator of Chicken Soup for the Soul. Over nearly a decade, I learned invaluable lessons about personal development and training, which inspired me to branch out and develop my own concept—Excellent Decisions.”
Living a Values-Based Life
“My current focus, and the heart of my book, Living a Values-Based Life, is helping people clarify their most important values. Once they’re clear on those, they can create a life—and in many cases, a business—that truly aligns with what matters most to them.”
What Are Values, Really?
“At its core, values are what’s most important to us. They define how we want to show up in the world and guide the ways we choose to be. When we are clear about our values, they become a compass, fundamentally shifting how we navigate life and work."
Why Are Values So Hard to Define?
“Most people struggle to articulate their values simply because no one teaches them how. Schools don’t prioritize it, and while parents might model certain values, they often don’t have the tools to guide their children through truly understanding and clarifying their highest values. It’s not intuitive, and it’s certainly not a one-hour workshop—it’s a journey.”
Values Are More Than Ideals; They’re Tools
“Without clearly defined values, navigating life is like walking blindfolded. You may move forward, but without a compass, you risk heading in the wrong direction. Society constantly pushes external markers like money, cars, or houses as measures of success. But aligning goals with deeply personal values, like strengthening family relationships or contributing to a cause, brings fulfillment and focus.”

Part Two.
Erin Diehl dreamed of being the next Oprah but ended up becoming the queen of corporate improv instead. Now the founder and CEO of Improve It, she helps teams laugh their way to better performance. A self-declared “failfluencer,” Erin turns every faceplant into a feature. In this two-part series, we dig into her journey, her joy-first philosophy, and why bombing on stage—or in life—might be the best thing that ever happened to you.
Key Highlights of Our Interview:
WTF: Worst Terrifying Failure
“2020 was my crash course in failure. The pandemic forced our in-person business to pivot entirely online overnight. At the same time, I juggled new motherhood, supporting a recovering parent, and trying to keep my business afloat. It was my WTF moment: my Worst Terrifying Failure.”
This breakdown captures the essence of the MOVE ON methodology:
1. Marinate: Sit With It, Not In It
Failure isn’t something you can brush off overnight. Take the time to sit with your worst terrifying failure—your WTF story. Reflect deeply. Walk, journal, or simply allow yourself to process. It’s about feeling without rushing to fix.
2. Own It: Forgive and Face the Thought Worms
“Own your part in the failure, but more importantly, forgive yourself. We repeat 80% of our negative thoughts daily, so break that cycle. Recognize those thought worms for what they are and stop letting them dictate your story.”
3. Verify the Lessons: What Will You Take With You?
“Failure comes bearing lessons—two or three takeaways that you can carry forward. Identify what you’ve learned and how you’ll avoid the same pitfalls in the future. This step transforms failure into wisdom.”
4. Evaluate: What’s the Plan?
5. Observe the Growth: Prepare for the Next Chapter
6. Embrace Failure as Part of Change

“Pitching an improv workshop to United Airlines was a gamble, but it paid off—literally. What started as a passion experiment became a calling when United became my first paying client. Improv wasn’t just for the stage anymore.”
The Teacher’s High“That feeling of guiding someone toward growth is intoxicating. It’s a high I kept chasing, and the more I taught, the more I wanted to do it. Seeing others find joy became my own source of joy.”
From ROI to ROO: The Objective Shift
“We don’t measure ROI; we measure ROO—Return on Objective. Every engagement starts with a consult call to pinpoint your specific challenges and objectives, ensuring everything aligns with the participants’ needs.”

Yesterday in Part One, we tumbled through Nina’s journey—her high-flying wins, faceplants, and the grit that kept her going. Today in Part Two, we unpack the tools she’s created to help others bounce back from life’s inevitable wipeouts. Because let’s face it: real life doesn’t come with a crash mat.Key Highlights of Our Interview:

The Power of Perspective: Achievements and Challenges Together”
“Your resume tells one story, but your reverse resume tells the deeper truth: what you’ve overcome. Together, they define not just what you’ve done, but who you are.”
“Success vs. a Successful Lifetime: Spot the Difference”
“A nice car, a big house, a shiny jet—that’s success. But a successful lifetime? That’s the legacy, the relationships, the impact. The timeline reveals the whole messy, marvelous story.”

In Part 2, the focus shifts to how Rebecca helps others through turning points—especially people who are accomplished, capable, and a little too comfortable. She challenges leaders to imagine the future before chasing it, unpacks how midlife isn’t a crisis but a creative window, and talks through what momentum really looks like when you’re not sure what to do next.
Draw the Future – “You can’t walk toward what you haven’t pictured.” Why strategy starts with sketching, not spreadsheets.
Elastic Leadership – A stretched mind stays strong. A stuck one snaps. How to find your own tension point—and work with it.
Rebecca's book: Elastic - Stretch without snapping or snapping back
Midlife Isn’t the End of the Book – It might be the best chapter. Rebecca reframes age as a lever, not a limitation.
Momentum Beats Motivation – Motivation is moody. Momentum is movement. Here’s how to find it again.
Parenting, Coaching & Boundaries – Why coaching your kids is a terrible idea—but letting them crash your book club isn’t.
This isn’t an episode about reinvention theory. It’s about what to do when you’ve stopped moving—and how to start again, without blowing everything up.

Rebecca Sutherns didn’t set out to become a solo strategy coach. She trained for a global career, then paused it to raise four kids, said yes to client work when she could find a babysitter, and ended up building a 27-year practice on her own terms. In Part 1, she walks us through the pivots and trade-offs that shaped her work—not from a five-year plan, but from being fully in the moment.
Key Highlights of Our Interview:
When the Global Plan Hit Pause – How a promising career in international development took a backseat to malaria pills, pregnancy, and timing.
The Business Started by Saying Yes – “If I liked the people and could sort childcare, I did the job.” No vision board, just real life.
The Accidental Mentor – A conversation in Australia flipped how she charged—and earned her five times more.
Why She Didn’t Scale – Rebecca explains why staying solo wasn’t a fallback, but a deliberate choice to stay agile and human.
Reinvention in Real Time – Every few years, she didn’t change jobs. She changed her lens.
If your resume doesn’t make sense on paper, Rebecca’s story will remind you: maybe it’s not the paper that needs fixing.

What happens when a sociology major dabbles in accounting, dips into venture capital, and then rewrites her script—literally? You get Jean Zhou. Now a filmmaker and CEO of Wind Entertainment, Jean’s career plotline includes more genre shifts than a Netflix queue. She traded spreadsheets for screenplays and hasn’t looked back since.
Key Highlights of Our Interview:
Creating Stories: Founding Wind Entertainment
“In 2019, I founded Wind Entertainment. Initially, we incubated writers and even won several Best Novel Awards. By 2020, we ventured into drama series, writing our first script, The Starry Love. It aired on four TV stations in China and was distributed to over 30 countries.”
Sociology: A Bridge Between Business and Humanity
“Sociology opened my worldview and helped me understand people better. Ultimately, the business world is about relationships—between people and people. Sociology gave me insights into the social mind and thoughts, which help decode the essence of business.”
The Seeds of a Producer’s Journey
“As a child, I had to go to bed at 9 p.m., even though TV programming continued until 10. That early frustration planted the idea in my mind—one day, I’d take control of storytelling. Fast forward to 2018, when I watched the TV series Ashes of Love and realized it was the most incredible thing to create a project like that. I decided it was something I had to try, at least once in my life.”
The Limitations of AI in Screenwriting
“While AI brings efficiency, its impact on screenwriting remains minimal. Scripts are tailored works of art, built to surpass expectations. AI, by contrast, is a summary of past material, often resembling a Wikipedia outline. Such drafts lack the depth and creativity necessary for a fully developed script that would appeal to buyers.”
