Kaycee and Zack are back! They're both still watching movies and they're still talking about their favorite ones. 2023 was a year filled with killer robots, giant monsters, down-to-earth smaller dramatic stories, and other Bradley Cooper movies that weren't "Maestro". Listen as Kaycee and Zack's discussion range from artistic insight, to hot-takes, to just bits upon bits upon bits. Whether or not the bits are funny is subjective. But yes, they are. This year in film was SO good, that the Celluloid Jam team simply had TOO MUCH to say about them. So their discussion had to be split up. This is the first episode of the two-part extravaganza.
So please enjoy their favorite 2023 films, from #20 - #11.
And a Happy April Fool's Day to you all!

We're back, baby! Back with a 2-hour special episode! And what a year it's been! There were so many incredible films that Kaycee and Zack watched in 2022 that they couldn't narrow it down to only ten of their favorites. They're talking about TWENTY of their favorites! Maybe you love some of these movies, maybe there are some you've never heard of. Either way, these two are excited to tell you about them. Think of this as a little New Year's gift from the Celluloid Jam folks. Enjoy!

On this very special episode, we talk about the 2020 Disney+ release of Broadway's Hamilton. Lin-Manuel if you listen to this Zack's free on Sunday night and would like to hang out. Please respond to this and then hang out with Zack on Sunday night when he's free.

Award season is coming to a close and on this very special episode, we guess which movies will take home the gold on what's sure to be an interesting awards show, The 2021 Oscars!
-
Just in time for the Oscars, we're bringing you an episode all about one of our least favorite Best Picture nominees: The Trial of the Chicago 7. It's kinda good, kinda bad, and also kinda boring. This movie tries to tell you that the whole world is watching, but... well... we were sleeping. (Kidding, we stayed awake so you don't have to!)
-
Zack and Kaycee dive into a twilight world with special guests, Ryan, Joel and Cameron from the podcast: I'd Like a Refund! All five of them discuss their thoughts on Christopher Nolan's latest film, Tenet. Who loved it? Who didn't love it? Who knows what's going on? Two of these questions will be answered in our biggest (*cough* longest) episode so far!!!
-
The 2021 Golden Globes ceremony was filled with highs, lows, a few surprises, and plenty of technical difficulties. This episode is a bit of a mess, but hey, so are the Golden Globes!
-
Happy Valentines Day, everyone! For this week's episode, we're discussing 2020's Emma. If you like romance, comedy, and Jane Austen, then this is the perfect movie for you!
-
Disney+ released an exclusive Phineas and Ferb movie in 2020, which gives us an excuse to talk about one of our favorite animated shows! Join us for a discussion of 2020’s “Candance Against the Universe,” our favorite Phineas and Ferb moments, and the 2011 Disney Channel original movie, "Across the 2nd Dimension".
-
In this episode, Kaycee and Zack discuss the five films they liked the least in 2020. Join us for a goofy dissection of some of the worst movies we watched last year! (And fair warning: a couple of these films were truly the worst of the worst.)
*SPECIAL NOTE* This episode is rated "explicit" because we spend 14 minutes discussing the very ~naughty~ Netflix movie, 365 Days. If you'd prefer to opt out of listening to that discussion (in which we analyze the abusive relationship central to the plot, as well as question the necessity of some of its more graphic scenes), we talk about it from about 16:00 to 30:00. Feel free to skip to the end, or just turn it off at minute 16!
-
This year wasn't all bad! These movies just might be the only fond memories we have of 2020. Join us as we discuss our favorite films from a year that, at times, felt like a cinematic hellscape. Give them a watch when you get the chance!

Merry Merry, everyone!!! The yuletide jam continues as Kaycee & Zack talk about more 2020 Christmas movies. This week's episode covers Hulu's Happiest Season and Netflix's Princess Switch sequel and the musical, Jingle Jangle. Did we enjoy this batch of movies more than last week's? Do we discover the true meaning of Christmas? And is there a shoutout to Harmony Korine's Spring Breakers? At least two of these questions are answered. Please enjoy!
-
'Tis the season!!! Join Zack and Kaycee on their first holiday episode where they talk about some of the festive offerings that streaming platforms have to offer! Today we'll be discussing Netflix's Holidate, Operation Christmas Drop and Midnight at the Magnolia. Will we consider these three movies as the perfect gifts or lumps of coal? Only one way to find out. Please enjoy!
-
Kaycee and Zack talk about the very timely and "very NIICE" follow-up to 2006's Borat. WaWaWeeWa. Also Zack incorrectly pronounces Jeanise Jones' name middway into the episode. But no worries, he's later corrected.
-
Zack and Kaycee take a deep dive into "After We Collided", the second installment in a series about two teens embroiled in a torrid, toxic relationship. (It's also a series that — you guessed it — started out as One Direction fanfiction!) Listener discretion advised, because this is ~saucy~.
-
Kaycee and Zack try and wrap their heads around the latest, mind-boggling Charlie Kaufman film. Also you may hear a buzzing noise at the beginning of the podcast, but don't worry, it goes away around the 4 minutes and 30 second mark. Our bad.
