Yang mana dalam awal proses mencari ilmu di tempat kelahirannya yaitu di Probolinggo dilanjutkan di Pondok Lirboyo Kediri dilanjut merantau ke Mekkah berguru kepada Sayyid Muhammad al-Maliki. Mari kita terus belajar, terutama belajar ilmu Agama Islam dengan bimbingan para Ulama yang sanad keilmuannya jelas hingga kepada Nabi Muhammad Shallallahu Alaihi Wasallam. Semoga waktu yang masih kita miliki ini bisa kita gunakan demi perbaikan dan kebaikan, Aamiin yaa robbal aalamiin.

Dato’ Dr Abdul Basit Abdul Rahman mendapat Ijazah Sarjana Muda, Ijazah Sarjana dan Ijazah Doktor Falsafah dari Universiti Islam Madinah dalam bidang Syariah Islam. Kini beliau adalah Musyrif (penyelia) Pondok Sungai Durian, Kuala Krai, Kelantan di samping merupakan pensyarah Jabatan Syariah, Kolej Islam Antarabangsa Sultan Ismail Petra (KIAS). Dato’ Dr Abdul Basit Abdul Rahman telah bertugas membimbing jemaah haji & umrah sejak tahun 1988. Beliau juga adalah ahli jawatan kuasa PERKIM Kelantan dari tahun (2008-2010-2014) dan merupakan ahli dalam sebuah pertubuhan bukan kerajaan (NGO) yang menggerakkan aktiviti dakwah & agama dikalangan masyarakat bersama 20 orang asatizah lain. Antara buku penulisan Dato’ Dr Abdul Basit Abdul Rahman adalah Makkah Mukarramah; Kelebihan & Sejarah, Madinah Manawwarah; Kelebihan & sejarah, Islam agama yg sempurna dan 41 kelebihan Nabi SAW.
