Most of us have asked the existential questions of where we came from, why we're here, and where we're going? But perhaps the most debated question of all would be, HOW DO YOU GET THERE? This is the question every religion tries to answer in its own unique way. The How. In essence, which path is the right path?
In this final podcast, I share with you exactly where I want to go. I'm headed to Zion, my friends. This is my destination. To live in a new world where the people are of one heart and one mind. Ultimately, I think any person on a soul level would want to live here because it's a place of love and oneness. And yet the question still remains, HOW DO YOU GET THERE? Is there only one way? Or do you find it if you just walk long enough? The answer may surprise you. Listen in.

We are all designed to evolve, it's part of our nature. The body you have as a baby is not the same body you have as an adult. It changed. It evolved. It grew. Likewise, your lifestyle, your beliefs, who you are and how you see the world, are meant to go through a similar evolution. We could safely say that the only constant in the world is change. Everything in nature, reflects the constant change in all things...Nothing is static. Even when the rose is in full bloom in summer, the peak season will shift and the petals will drop and winter comes and eventually spring brings a new rebirth of the rose. There is death and rebirth many times over for the rose and for each of us. Yet, so often we resist the change we see happening in ourselves or those we love. In this episode we'll explore how to embrace the evolution of people, and trust that the cycle of death and rebirth holds so much more than meets the eye if we can have faith and trust the process.

Humans have this amazing tendency to be able to time travel into the future and live out the scenes of the worst case scenario on repeat in the mind...even though this future hasn't happened, we think of what could happen in the worse possibly way and create anxiety and fear from that thought movie as it flashes through our mind.
But have you ever noticed how those replays in the brain always stop at the cliffhanger moment? The moment everything goes wrong? The moment you're humiliated? The moment you get rejected? The moment you lose all that is important to you? Fear is powerful. And it can be paralyzing. In this episode we're going to work through a transformative process to reduce fear and anxiety. It's as simple as finishing the story. We're going to learn to not leave fear as a cliffhanger. Because in reality? The story isn't done yet.

Expectation is a powerful force in every person's life and one of the biggest drivers of motivation. Expectation influences our decisions on every level. Whether it's the macro life decisions we make or the micro moments of our personal interactions. While expectations can certainly keep order in the world, if not questioned or evaluated, living for others expectations can also prevent us from making progress as a society or keep us from living our own life purpose. In this episode we'll explore what can happen when we give away our agency to the expectation of others, as well as what can happen when we have the courage to follow our own path. Spoiler alert, this is what changes the world.

You probably already know this, but allow me to remind you, you are not a robot. You are not designed to go at the same pace, with the same energy, day in and day out indefinitely. Unfortunately, our modern world doesn't exactly function in a way to allow for the nuances of our fluctuating energy and rhythms, yet this is the way that Nature has existed since the very beginning. In this episode we're talking about how to align with the seasons to help support us in our own sustainable growth, and what summer can teach us about the need for Recreation or as I like to say, Re-CREATION.

So what is your relationship with food? What comes up for you when you think of nourishing the body? Better yet, what comes up for you when you think of sticking to a physical goal for your body for a certain time frame? A few days ago we started our Nourishment Challenge on the Co Create app. This is a 40 Day challenge all focused on nourishment. But if you are like me or others in my team, we usually have a little bit of dread, some judgement, and a lot of expectations when it comes to how we think we should eat or care for our bodies. For these reasons, it was really important to us to treat this challenge in the most loving way possible with a lot of freedom. And I have to admit, I love the approach we ended up with. Already we're having people in the Co Create App community sharing their excitement too and I want to give you a little sneak peak of why.

It's my belief that one of the great purposes of our life is to learn how to BE OURSELF.
The amazing self God uniquely formed and created that is unlike any other.
This is how we fill the measure of our creation.
Yet too often we abandon ourselves to fit in, please others, or live by someone else's rules and expectations.
When we honor our own hopes, dreams, desires, ideas, passions, wants, and needs, we live in alignment with our soul instead of fighting against it.

Most people have something in their life that they know needs to change. Sometimes it's knowing our life would improve if we made a small tweak to the way we do something. Other times, life challenges will demand we make massive changes in order to survive. In this episode we're talking about both approaches to growth: The big leap or tiny baby steps. Both can be effective if you know how and when to use them. And perhaps the most important question here, is which one do you currently need?

Have you ever had a goal or even a wish that you wanted to come to pass, and it just didn't seem to lock in, even with good effort and intent? In this episode we're talking about growth conditions. Just like every seed has its own germination time, each seed also requires the right conditions to be able to really take off and thrive. Part of the mystery of our own development comes in learning what the right conditions are for ourselves. I'm going to share with you something I have really wanted to thrive in my life that took me eleven years to have the right conditions for it to actually grow. I could be frustrated by how long it took, but instead, I'm learning a huge lesson in trusting the timing and conditions for growth.

There is great power in the order in which we approach life. Remember that you are a human being, and not a human doing. Too often we forget our beingness and rush into the doing without finding alignment first. Your doing can be absolutely transformed depending on the state of beingness in which you approach it with.
This can be as simple as taking a momentary pause before you do something.
These meditations in motion expand a meditation practice to fit right into the bustle of your day. There's no need to completely stop your activity right now, unless you want to. Here, the power will come from simply choosing to be fully present. While most of my podcasts are informative, this is designed to be experiential. If you'll participate with me in the next five minutes, I promise this can be a transformative moment of your day.

You've probably heard the reminder that we are human beings not human doings. Yet, too often we can find ourselves caught up in the doing side of life, that we either burn out or check out. We detach from ourselves, others, and God and in so doing the weight of life is magnified. What if there was an easier way? Turns out there is. It's what I call working from the inside out instead of working from the outside in.

Ep. 138 The Transactional Gospel vs. Unconditional Love -
How do you believe blessings work? Do you earn them? Are blessings rewards from heaven for good behavior? Is salvation earned through your works or are we really saved by grace? In this episode we're talking about the transactional gospel, which is the belief that we are rewarded or punished according to our actions. I'm sharing how this belief has played out in my life and why I'm now ready to let it go for a better way.

Acceptance is a charged word these days, especially in a world where cancel culture reigns. We are more conditioned to reject than we are to accept, and unfortunately this tendency is not just projected outward towards others, it also seeps inward to our own selves and our own lives. It is easy to want to immediately reject anything about ourselves or circumstances that we don't like or feels uncomfortable. Staying open and accepting can feel especially difficult but the results are worth learning the skill. I've come to learn through my own trials that rejection never brings me what I hope it will. But acceptance, which feels so counterintuitive has been one of the greatest healing efforts I've ever made. The book that has helped me learn this is Radical Acceptance by Tara Brach. Let's talk about it.

Typically when we think of creation, we focus on creating something that wasn't there before. We add something new to our life. Just as powerful, however, can be the opposite: Subtracting something from your life.
