  • Josh and Mike break down Season 5, Episode 4 of Dexter: Beauty and the Beast. After last week's Mary Poppins themed episode, Josh and Mike search for parallels between Dexter and a different Disney classic: Beauty and the Beast. Meanwhile, Mike develops a new idea for personal identification efficiency in the country while Josh works on strengthening very important muscles in his face. Jonah Mitchell makes a guest appearance and gets easily distracted by all of the choices inside the department store. Finally, Dexter meets Lumen - a survivor of torture at the hands of Boyd Fowler (and possibly others!). Where will Season 5 head next?!

  • Josh and Mike break down Season 5, Episode 3 of Dexter: Practically Perfect. In a Mary Poppins and Hippopotamus themed episode, the brothers start to slowly warm up to the overarching plot lines of season 5. Did you know that Hippos also have information privacy rights?? Furthermore, given all of the political turmoil surrounding America, Josh and Mike can't stop themselves from impersonating our country's most divisive figure heads as a form of therapy. Don't worry everyone - take a breath - it's distributed equally to both sides! The brothers also add to their lineup of new ABC shows that you really don't want to miss. Does Dexter finally get the best of Boyd Fowler?! Tune in to find out!

  • Josh and Mike break down Season 5, Episode 2 of Dexter: Hello, Bandit. The brothers struggle to find redeeming moments in this dragged out episode of Dexter. Deemed by Josh as "Pilot Part 2", the episode focuses mostly on Dexter's inability to balance caring for 3 kids on his own with the needs of his dark passenger. Angel finds $268,000 in his wife's account and spirals for some reason. Meanwhile, Quinn spends 40 minutes working on a 3-piece puzzle of Dexter's face. Because this episode was mostly garbage, the brothers spend time analyzing the most important things in life: plants & animals, restaurants that no longer exist, rhyming, different types of voices, and figuring things out together. Enjoy this 95% nonsense, 4 % discovery & education, and 1% Dexter analysis.

"I can't wait to put these pieces of the puzzle together to figure out the solution that's best for all of us." - Quote of the episode

  • Josh and Mike break down Season 5, Episode 1 of Dexter: My Bad. Still reeling from one of the most incredible season finales of all time, the Season 5 premiere struggles to keep the brothers as captivated as usual. You know what that means... To summarize, Josh and Mike invent some new characters, give Deb a new hobby (practicing Devil Sticks), and insist that somebody at Miami Metro CHECK THE DAMN TAPES! Otherwise, this episode is perfectly normal. The brothers do an excellent job staying completely focused and grounded throughout the entire episode. The lesson here? If you're mad at someone, don't go to the bathroom with a sharp umbrella. Enjoy the episode!

  • Josh and Mike break down Season 4, Episode 12 of Dexter: The Getaway. Revered as one of the best episodes of television in history, the brothers put on their serious faces and discuss the wild ride of the Season 4 finale. Well, mostly serious. One of the BHB series regular monsters makes an appearance! Also, the brothers discuss whether or not different people live in different parts of the Earth. Ladies and gentlemen - I present the Trinity Killer: 10-year-old Scott Smith encased in a block of cement. Enjoy the season finale and stay out of the bathtub!

  • Josh and Mike break down Season 4, Episode 11 of Dexter: Hello, Dexter Morgan. The wild ride continues in the penultimate episode of Season 4. Angel and Deb have a slumber party filled with pillow fights, tickling, and popcorn. Four seasons later, Josh STILL doesn't know anything about animals. Meanwhile, Angel and Maria get the ultimate revenge on Captain Matthews by simultaneously punching him in the face at the same time (with their words). In one of the most exciting sequences in television history, Miami Metro Homicide is completely oblivious to Arthur Mitchell roaming the police station. We are well set up for one of the most jarring and shocking season finales of all time. Buckle up.

  • Josh and Mike break down Season 4, Episode 10 of Dexter: Lost Boys. The wild goose chase is on! Arthur kidnaps a 10-year-old boy and Dexter spends 52 minutes trying to find them. In the BHB world, Mike teaches Josh some new words, Josh's computer explodes (leaving Mike to temporarily fend for himself), the brothers examine Marti Gras in New Orleans, and Paul Revere makes a guest appearance. Oh, and just in case anyone was wondering, human holes are tallied in this episode. Lots to do and lots to chew! Speaking of chew, Arthur plays with CHOO CHOO TRAINS! Have a wonderful time listening to this nonsense!

  • Josh and Mike break down Season 4, Episode 9 of Dexter: Hungry Man. The brothers truly appreciate this powerhouse episode and collectively consider it to be one of the best episodes of television history. As much as they love this episode, they equally despise the character of Elliot, even though he has excellent peripheral vision. Meanwhile, since it's Thanksgiving, Miami Metro is left unattended during an old man convention, but don't worry - Papa Higgins and the Department Sheep have it all under control. Enjoy the episode!

  • Josh and Mike break down Season 4, Episode 8 of Dexter: Road Kill. On the spectrum of ridiculousness, the brothers take the BHB podcast to new heights. What are the personalities inside YOUR spice cabinet? Bet you never thought about that. We also get a tour inside New Jersey airports where baggage claim reflects a never-ending nightmare. Dexter and Arthur take a road trip together, sing show tunes, and play the "going on a picnic" game. The muppets also make an appearance. Good luck everyone.

  • Josh and Mike break down Season 4, Episode 7 of Dexter: Slacktide. Josh recounts his haunted past. He hates hugs but Real Thing Blubz has something to say about that. The brothers also explore the world of Sad Boy Music. We also get a BHB Exclusive: the WORLD premiere of Chapter 1 of the Douches of Timber! Oh, the brothers also talk about this mediocre episode of Dexter entitled: Arthur's Making Progress with His Wood. Try to enjoy this!

  • Josh and Mike break down Season 4, Episode 6 of Dexter: If I Had A Hammer. If you had a hammer, when would YOU do your hammering? If you had a lamp, where would you put it? If you didn't have bread, would you make it? These are all pressing questions as we enter the halfway mark of Season 4. Angel pursues a new passion, Dexter finally comes face to face with the Trinity killer, Arthur Mitchell, and Deb confronts a moral dilemma. We also finally get an inside look into the life and family of Arthur Mitchell and learn about his lucrative side business, Four Balls, One Fart. Enjoy the nonsense!

  • Josh and Mike break down Season 4, Episode 5 of Dexter: Dirty Harry. The brothers memorialize one of their favorite podcast characters but welcome back a returning podcast character from a spiritual journey to find himself. Also, Josh longs for a day when he can have his own Harry Potter sorting hat. Meanwhile, Dexter finds fewer places to hide as Rita catches him in a major lie. Cody's a balloon now, Lundy's up to his usual hijinks, wiggly mouths are abound, and the neighborhood watch is on the HUNT! When will Dexter and Trinity finally cross paths? When will Season 4 inevitably wake up from its early season slumber? When will Maria, Angel, and Angel's owl finally break through Platform 9 and 3/4 to visit Nikki Wald in Hogwarts? • Josh and Mike break down Season 4, Episode 2 of Dexter: Remains to Be Seen. Josh makes it impeccably clear from the start that he is NOT a fan of this episode. He doesn't like when television physically hurts him. Mike struggles to pronounce many simple English words, as per usual. He also invents a new unit of measurement. Miami Metro searches endlessly for a killer on stilts, covering a 30 Trigget radius. Finally, Lundy and Deb explore new foods, folders, and suspects. One of them could NOT have been the killer because he was somewhere at the time of the crime. Enjoy the episode!
