O&R stands for “Originals & Remixes”, a bunch of tracks produced by Swiss electronic creators put together with remixes of international artists, or songs of SickSpud himself. Caution: this 30 min. podcast sounds like a dj-set starting with some dark techno and ending up with much heavier basses! Check out the tracklist below:

AZAZEL by Lee-O, SickSpud remix (00:38 - 06:24)The darkest side of this live-act.

ANTIPASS by SickSpud (06:25 - 11:34)It reminds us the groove of a minimal track. Yeapah, head-shaking has just started!

ANXIOLITIC by SickSpud (11:35 - 17:29)The atmosphere of a good after hour party in a single track.

TITOK by SickSpud (17:30 - 23:29)BPM are slightly rising on this track, a good progressive-techno outfit

FACE SLAPPER (FRANK KVITTA REMIX), SickSpud remix (23:30 to 31:12)New rise of BPM: this time it sounds - almost - like hard techno. Enjoy it on a dancefloor!

  • On Friday 11th June 2021, Swiss dj & music producer @SickSpud was on air over Facebook. That was the first opportunity to showcase one of our 5tracks SUPERTRACKS session: a mix of the five best tracks which have been produced for 5tracks podcast yet.

What a Revenge! At the time of the live-act, SickSpud had to deal with various and repeated technical issues. But he did! Here the track listing:

STRANGE (00:45 - 07:45)Light & pumping at the same time, what a refreshing minimal track! not fully convinced by the voices hearable in the break time though

MOUNETTE TWO (07:45 - 15:55) Progressive influences and a bright dark melody are well placed on this great track. Just close your eyes and dance!GALACTIC VIRUS (15:55 - 21:25)Be patient: to us, this track really starts at 1.30 with its motivating rhythm!

TURKISH ZARBI (21:25 - 24:30)If you like acid (sounds), this progressive track is dedicated to you.

AIE AIE AIE (24:30 - 27:25)A shaking techno-progressive: it actually sounds like the most elaborate track of the whole show!

    BONUS (27:25 to the end)

  • Welcome to 5tracks, the music podcast presented by @0diolab and gathering artists of the electronic scene willing to spread their sound! Each month, five tracks of groovy music produced by independent creators and mixed by @SickSpud.

SickSpud is playing as a deejee - as he usually does for UZIC webradio - and as an artist of the Swiss electronic music scene. He actually diggs his inspiration in his techno-progressive roots. His appetite for groove definitely helped him to make the link between heavier techno and smoother minimal or tech house.

In the meantime, find below the description of the five tracks created by SickSpud. And stay tuned: You will find @SickSpud on various platforms such as Soundcloud, Twitter or Facebook.

AIE AIE AIE AIE (00:37 - 08:22)A shaking techno-progressive: it actually sounds like the most elaborate track of the whole show!

MINIMAL TREK (08:22 - 11:27)Dry basses at the beginning, though there are a few great ideas in this groovy track.

MESSAGE FOR THE UNIVERSE (11:27 - 17:48)A smoother start, rather sustained though. The intro might sound a little too long, you should however find yourself accelerating after minute 3.

VIDCO 91 (17:48 - 24:35)After an interesting intro you will listen to a more classical track. The break around the 3rd minute sounds nice!

GALACTIC VIRUS (24:35 - 35:56)Be patient: to us, this track really starts at 1.30 with its motivating rhythm!

BONUS (35:56 to the end) !
