Haileigh shares her self-transformation journey through mothering four sons. We discuss the impact of choosing to have a child to fulfill low self-worth, the concept of soul contracts between parents and children, how every hard situation and trigger present in parenthood can reveal a lesson, how most parent's issues can melt away by joining their children in the present moment, and how deeply we judge ourselves, our children, and others.

Adults have a conscious mind (fully programmed on how to act in our society), that is a "gatekeeper" that prevents us from punching strangers that make us angry or from telling our friend our honest (negative) thoughts about the dress she loves, but children do not have this brain gatekeeper YET. This is why children have no filter and they express emotion in the second they feel it! I discuss how unrealistic expectations on young children with developing, growing brains, creates suffering and victimhood in parenting! I also discuss my theory about why most of us have the core wound of low self worth, “I am not good enough, pretty enough, successful enough, smart enough.”
This episode was inspired by the book Fear No Evil and one of my favorite conscious mothers, Nicole Parker (@theseedofjoy_).
If you enjoyed this episode, there are other past episodes about children and conscious parenting from years prior on this podcast.
