  • This tutorial is going to be interactive and while I personally won’t be there to help you, the next best thing is hearing me guide you through those steps through audio guides. You don’t need a video tutorial going over my inbox as you might as well immediately apply what I’m teaching to your inbox.

Everything here on this PDF is essentially a transcript of my audio guide. The main difference is I've included screenshots to make it super clear on my directions in addition to having the ability to copy and paste certain things (you’ll see what I mean later).

So the first step before moving on is to download Soundwise (iOS/Android) and find my Soundcasts there.

    Got it? Let’s begin!

Throughout the lessons, I’ll leave ample time for you to follow my instructions and also instruct you to pause the track and press play once you’re done with the step and are ready to continue. Attached in each lesson’s notes is a PDF which contains the transcript of everything I’m saying here in addition to screenshots to help guide you even further.

If you have any questions, please ask in Soundwise’s app! More than happy to help.

    Now let’s really begin.

  • I’ve always been a neat, organized person and naturally, this extends to my digital spaces as well. As a professional photographer and cinematographer, it all comes down to file management and workflows to get the appropriate finished file to the client. Being organized is naturally part of the job.

As far as communication, nothing still beats email as the most reliable daily archive of our personal and professional life. Yet, I’d argue that for many their inbox is simply a chronological pile of emails as opposed to a beautiful filing cabinet with colorful labels that allow you to find anything you want effortlessly.

You see, I’m that guy who labels the power cords so at a glance I know what I’m unplugging from the surge protector that all have the same black plug. I’m also that guy who says “Alexa, get ready for bed” and all the lights in the living room and kitchen turn off in addition to the TV or projector which will then trigger the bedroom lights to dimly glow.

My point is: I love being organized and when I can automate something, you bet I will.

So hell yes I’m excited to teach you how to turn your inbox into a beautiful digital filing cabinet.

    Let’s go.

And oh, this is obviously for Gmail users. If you don’t have one, now's the best time to get one and organize your inbox from the start.
