  • Now that a great weekend in sports is finally wrapped up join me as I break down the past 72 hours that was. From Friday's slate of games that saw teams from each conference of the NBA fighting for playoff seeding, to a great UFC 300 card, and of course, Sunday's NBA games that concluded the 2023-2024 regular season. The family and I spent our weekend in Sacramento attending the final two home games for the Kings and rode the rollercoaster of emotions that came with it, from blundering another huge lead on Friday night to dominance on Sunday afternoon. I'll tell you why our fate was sealed Thursday and where we stand now that the dust has settled. No matter who your favorite NBA team is "The Stage Is Set" for the play-in scenarios and soon the NBA Playoffs as a whole. I give my best case and biased predictions as well as what I think will happen in my heart of hearts. All that and more on episode 21 of Unprofessional AF Sports!

  • Wanted to edit this more thoroughly but been out and about so before it goes any further this is one I’m really proud of. Unprofessional AF family comes back and reunites for another episode. Quincy taps in from Little Rock and updates us on what’s new with him both music wise as well as life in general. Then you know I had to ask about this whole rap beef that’s taking over our feeds and even tap in and check what his thoughts are on the Diddy situation as well. All that and a spotlight on some new work from our Brother Quincy on episode 235 of UNPROFESSIONAL AF!

  • Timing is everything, had I did this show Friday the narrative would have been much different. However following the events that took place after the surprise release of J. Cole’s mixtape “Might Delete Later” we are left with wondering why he entered his hat in the race at all. The talk of Thursday night heading into Friday was the response titled “7 Minute Drill”. Maybe that was how long it took Cole to regret his move as just a couple days later he took the stage at his “Dreamville Festival” denouncing what he had done. I give my opinion on why his reasoning is contradictory to his own words as of late and what it means for him going forward. Then I highlight all the music that’s been lost in the shuffle due to all the back and forth by the “Big 3”. All that and more on episode 234 of Unprofessional AF!

  • Some people can't get out of their way. That seems to be the case for Draymond Green. In a recent road game in Orlando Draymond was assessed two technical fouls in the first 4 minutes of the game resulting in another ejection leaving his team in peril. While he seems to think it's no big deal the instant reaction of Steph Curry as well as post-game responses from him and head coach Steve Kerr say otherwise. I give my opinion on what this could mean for an already difficult season for the Warriors. Are Steph and the rest of the organization finally "Fed Up"? Then I give reasons for why the Sacramento Kings are also showing signs that appear to be cause for concern. Then news around the NFL, opening day for the MLB, and Boxing gearing up for a big spring and summer. All that and much more on Unprofessional AF Sports episode 20!

  • One week since the latest Kendrick Lamar created "moment" in Hip Hop I broke down the impact of his latest feature on the "We Don't Trust You" album by Metro Boomin and Future. While the full project was dope in totality the "Like That" track made waves in the culture. I discuss not only all the subliminal jabs that led to this moment but also give predictions on what might happen next. Who stands most to gain from this and who should just fall back. Then tragic. news of a container ship collision and then a collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore leaves rescue crews of divers, Coast Guard helicopters, and boats searching for those who fell to the river below. I share the few details known and my thoughts on the media's line of questioning following the incident. And there may be an end in sight for the Sean Combs era. As his homes are raided, children, are detained, and the alleged drug mule is in custody an investigation from Homeland Security seems to be the writing on the wall for the self-proclaimed Bad Boy, I give a brief insight with plans on going further into detail on Patreon. This is truly "Just The Beginning". All that and more on episode 233 of Unprofessional AF!

  • On this episode I discover just how hard it is to keep up with NFL free agency. While constant changes to the landscape made the note taking process difficult, it did make me gain a world of respect for Adam Schefter. ESPN’s go to man around this time of the year has been living on his devices to keep up. From the Steelers adding two high profile QB’s to running backs that were staples of their teams entering this season in different uniforms. NBA action is ramping up with the regular season coming to an end. I look over the ever changing standings in each conference and give my best case scenario for the California teams. • On this episode I catch up on the stories I missed including a snippet of J Cole’s latest project. I discuss the tone he is setting as well as my expectations for his upcoming album titled “The Fall Off”, while giving my opinion on why he has separated himself from the other two of the Big 3. Then I revisit a classic Dave Chappelle skit where the phrase “Hot Fire” was coined. While we all found it hilarious the butt of said joke is now doing interviews explaining the effect it had on his career. I give my thoughts on why he needs to take accountability for his situation. And a clear example of when life hands you lemons make lemonade with news of an upcoming Jaime Foxx standup explaining his recent health scares is in the works. • On this episode I start celebrating the storied career of Lebron James as he becomes the first player in NBA history to reach 40,000 points. Despite how you feel about the man he continues to forge ahead and combat Father Time. Staying in the NBA the Warriors have been playing good ball going 13-3 over their last 16 games until prior to a Sunday afternoon meeting with the Celtics. A game that seen the Dubs down by 44 at halftime only to lose by 50 plus. I discuss what which Warriors team needs to show up in order for them to make a real playoff push. And with the NFL in preparation for this upcoming draft the combine is in full swing. Amongst all the prospects making news so is the Raiders new coach Antonio Pierce. While players in the draft have kind words for the coach, some former staff members have quite the opposite feelings. I breakdown why the changing of the guard is hard to the NFL old heads to swallow. All that and much more on episode 18 of Unprofessional AF Sports!

Plus one of Rap’s biggest artists is triggered by a “mistake” made by the Academy’s social media team adding to her recent frustrations. Then a rumored Jay-Z album for 2024 was catching steam after a video director leaked a film slate stating he was recording a visual for Hov’s potential project. Then a heavy week of new music drops highlighted by Benny The Butcher’s Def Jam debut “Everybody Can’t Go” leaves me looking at the Griselda camp as in my opinion “The New Roc-A-Fella”. Tap in for how I landed there. Plus more back and forth from two of Hip Hop’s leading ladies leads to a diss song from one and twitter rants from the other. You can guess which is which. And California is in bad shape, I share some stories in the news and your social media feeds from some that will surprise you with their take. • On this episode I open sending thoughts and prayers to the Broadus family as news breaks of Snoop’s daughter Cori suffering a severe stroke. Shocking to say the least as she is only 24 years of age. I’ll share what she had to say and what updates are provided on her health going forward. Then the long awaited Vince Staples Netflix series gets a release date and trailer. I let y’all know when you can expect the series and why you should be locked in. Plus a new Tupac album in the works is confirmed and you’ll be shocked to see who’s in charge and already confirmed as a feature. Let’s hope that Big Hit isn’t a part of the project as I’ve been trying to avoid talking about him at all cost, but when the latest video of him spitting the latest freestyle hits social media I decide enough is enough. With all due respect I question whether it’s a BIG HIT? Or miss? All that and much more on episode 226 of Unprofessional AF!

  • On this episode I open with some new music. Finally after a slow end of last year the first couple weeks of of 2024 have seen releases from 21 Savage, Boldy James, and upcoming projects from both Benny The Butcher and Conway. I share my thoughts on a couple releases that were pleasant surprises as well as a 10 min Jay Z song I could’ve done without. And ahead of our Brother Joe Baba’s B-day I share some thoughts on what he meant to us all as well as plans to celebrate his life this Saturday. Plus Keith Lee’s Bay Area visit is cut short for some pretty embarrassing reasons. I’m sure by now y’all know the details but I discuss just how bad a light this shines on what should’ve been a great moment for the Bay. And not much worse of a light than that of “Sad Dad” NBA Youngboy who is the father of 11 and when asked about fatherhood explains that he’s not a fan of it?? I give my thoughts on his comment’s and wonder why someone who considers their blessings burdens would keep having children. All that and more on episode 225 of UNPROFESSIONAL AF!
