  • Happy new year folks!
As we celebrate the start of a new year we also celebrate the end of the TSP journey. What a 6 year journey it’s been! We’ve loved every second.
How do we end it though? We couldn’t just record another episode. It had to be special. It had to mean something. How do we do that?
We thought long and hard and then we decided to end it at the start.
As you remember our very first guest was the magnificent Vicky McClure so it would seem a full circle moment was in order. A bit of a different spin this time though.
If you’ve been with us for a while you’ll know that one guest that keep getting asked for again and again is our host, Craig. So…..
Craig asked Vicky if she’d be up for turning the tables so that Vicky would be the one asking the questions and Craig would be on the receiving end. Seems perfect right?
    We think so.
Craig drove to Nottingham to meet Vicky and they recorded this very special ending at the brilliant Mount Street Studios. We hope you enjoy. Who knows, tears may be shed.
We just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone that’s supported us over the years, it’s been a blast.
Until we speak again, all our love and gratitude to you and every guest that’s given their free time to talk.
    Craig & Griff

  • As we reach the end of it seems only right to furnish you all with another episode in the same week.
Welcome to the penultimate TSP episode and this one has been long in the making.
This week we welcome writer & show runner Cash Carraway.
Craig and Cash were in touch 4 years ago to try and arrange and time and date for Cash to come on and talk…..turns out the perfect time and date is now!
Cash first came to our attention with her book, Skint Estate. Since then, Cash has written for theatre and shorts and then a real breakthrough with incredible BBC/HBO series RAIN DOGS starring Daisy May Cooper. More recently Cash has been nominated in the BAFTA breakthrough category.
Finally, Craig and Cash set up a date to meet for the first time in person to record. Craig has as welcomed into Cash’s house where the tea flowed and Craig tried to mask the sound of doughnut eating whilst conducting the conversation. He may have failed on a few occasions.
Cash is an incredible person so we were thrilled to make this work.
After this conversation do go read SKINT ESTATE and RAIN DOGS is available to stream now.
We can’t wait to see what’s new on the slate for Cash. Until then, please welcome the brilliant Cash Carraway.

  • Another Week, another podcast, but only for so long.
This week Craig decides to head back down to the beach at dusk. As the day becomes night he wanders on a darkening beach to have a chat and welcome this weeks guest.
It’s only stand up, 8 out of 10 cats favourite and top ‘podder’ JOE WILKINSON!
You’ll also know Joe’s work as an actor, his work on the brilliant comedy HIM & HER really made us all take notice. As a writer, he’s collaborated with his comedy partner David Earl to create the much loved shows THE COCKFIELDS and ROVERS
His work with David Earl continues 3 days a week as they co host the fantastic podcast CHATABIX podcast. What? You don’t listen? Get on it. It’s very funny and they have some incredible guests on. We highly recommend you make that part of your podcast library…after we’ve gone, of course.
As Craig and Joe live near each other, CP popped the kettle on and Joe came knocking. Luckily for Joe, Craig was at home and answered the door. Once the brews were in hand they hit record and let it all flow. This is one of those classic TSP’s where two people have never met before... but you wouldn’t think it when listening. It’s a great natter and you’ll really get a handle on who Joe is. We’ve all seen his brilliant character persona, either on stage performing stand up or stealing the show from Jimmy Carr and his guests on 8 out of 10 cats, now lets get to know the real Joe Wilkinson.
One more thing! Joe is now an author! He’s collaborated with his friend Henry Paker on JOE WILKINSON: My (illustrated) Autobiography. As ever with an artist like Joe, all is not what it seems with this book, apart from it being very funny indeed. Go check it out at your local book shop.
This is the TWO SHOT PODCAST with the incomparable JOE WILKINSON. We really think you’re going to love this one.

  • How we doing gang? Keeping cosy as the night draws in even quicker? We hope so. After last weeks cracking conversation with Neil Forsyth, we leave deepest Soho and head out of London to sit down with acclaimed actor, award winning fighter (more of that in the episode) and all round good bloke, Warren Brown.
You’ll be familiar with Warren’s work on television over the years: Hollyoaks, Good Cop, The responder and of course as DS Justin Ripley in the BBC show Luther.
Craig and Warren talk about beginnings in the North of England, travels around the world with Muay-Thai boxing and how a job can take you to go and live down under.
We’re so chuffed to welcome Warren into our final countdown as it’s been a longtime coming.
Get that brew, pop those feet up and enjoy.

  • Well, here we go. It’s the beginning of the end. The last ever 6 episodes is upon us.
Our next 6 weeks together are going to be brilliant. A time to reflect but also embrace so let’s do that and welcome the incredible Neil Forsyth. Neil is an astonishing author and writer of so many things. You’ve seen the award winning TV show Guilt (with past TSP guest Mark Bonnar)? That’s his. The incredible BBC show The Gold (with past TSP guest Jack Lowden)? That’s his. Craig and Neil met up in Soho, London to discuss all things writing, creating and what happens when you write a show, film and show and then that show doesn’t air. But first, they start with a joke ….

  • What's happening TSP mates!! Producer Griff here. I've got a new podcast called 'My Own Garms'. It's a video podcast and it's about clothes and the people who wear them. This is the first episode with my mate Neil Summers here. I've got 8 recorded with a few previous TSP guests scattered amongst them (Amber Anderson is on next week)
The best way to get the podcast is either on Spotify or Youtube as you'll have the full audio visual experience but the audio is available wherever you get your podcasts.
MOG blurb below. New TSPs getting recorded next week. Nice one!!
Neil Summers on Swedish Gorpcore, Racking Euro Sports Shops & British Subcultures’ Effect On Fashion
Yes my mates, what’s happening with you lot!? This is My Own Garms. Now I’m not a massive fan of gassing on and on at the beginning of podcasts but since this is the first ever ep, I’d best give you a quick rundown of what’s happening here. Every week I’m gonna get a guest on. Actors, musicians, artists, journalists, fashion heads. Anyone I reckon who’s good for a chinwag about clothes. I’m sure you’ll get the idea after an episode or two. This week I’m chatting to Neil Summers. Neil’s a fucking diamond. His current professional roles involves working with a load of ace brands including Swedish jacket overlords Haglofs, Italian fabric innovators CP Company, German footbed perfectors Birkenstock and scandi fridge magnates Dometic. I first came across Neil when he was working on Proper magazine which he started with his mate Mark. I was pestering him about making some more proper podcasts so when I started My Own Garms, he was one of the first people I asked to be a guest. I fucking love this guy. You’re gunna love him too. If you like this ep make sure you subscribe. We’ve got loads more sick guests coming up on this first series. Go and follow us on the socials. We’re @myowngarms everywhere and if you wanna help us out go to Patreon.com/myowngarms and give us a quid. Or get boss to sponsor us or something. If you liked that, we’ve got loads more that are just as good coming up so make sure you click that subscribe button. Comment, review all that but the best thing you can do is send it to a mate who you reckon will love it. Come on, we’re just starting out here, throw us a bone. That’s about a wrap but it would be remiss of not to shout out a few people that have helped make it happen. Biggup Oscar Kenny on the tunes. That kid is making some absolute bangers. Go and follow him on insta. Proper child prodigy behaviours. Biggup Sam Black from the Popular Front crew on the other batch of tunes. Podcast soundtrack composer extraordinaire. Cheers mate. Big thanks to Pearl who’s done all the sick graphics and stuff that have stopped me having to dig out my coloured pencils. If you want some boss graphic design work done for anything, hit her up on insta @pearlthompsondesign. Shout out Matt Sellers for helping out with the colour grade. Big thanks to the mates at Aston for the mics and Native Places London and Manchester for the lovely recording spaces and last but not least big thanks to Sam Birch who’s done a banging job recording and engineering the whole thing. Nice one for listening. Catch you on the next one. My Own Garms is a video podcast. You can watch on Spotify and Youtube. There's gonna be loads of clips on TikTok and Insta (@myowngarms). But if you just want the audio, then you can find us wherever you usually listen to you podcasts.
