    Rebecca Floris

    Courtney Hobbs

    Lise Musso

Rebecca began writing stories when she was nine years old and has always aspired to write and publish books. She achieved a print journalism diploma before embarking upon her career path as a nurse, where she graduated with outstanding academic achievement in 2013. She has held many different jobs in Canada and New Zealand and acquired many different certifications but none of which have brought her as much joy as reading and writing have done. Her many hobbies include singing, playing piano, hiking, camping, kayaking, cooking and kittens. She is currently spending her summers by the Ottawa River, surrounded by the magic of whitewater, and she continues to pursue adventure at every opportunity.

Courtney is a mom first and all the other things second. She is a former teacher who loved the students but not the system so found herself on a different path than she was taught to want. She is now an entrepreneur who is creating the life she wants. Courtney has been telling stories forever, loves moving her body and lives for quality time with her family. In her spare time you can expect to find her connecting with people, baking muffins or organizing her home.

Lise is a survivor, a mother, a wife and a friend. She’s been through a lot and fought like hell to be where she is today. She loves cooking and taking care of people. These past couple of years have taught her that living with integrity is the most important lesson she can teach her son. No matter the cost of family, friends, or employment… Living with integrity means she can live with herself and in the end that is all that matters. Be kind and be loving… the world really needs it right now.

    Holly Schefold

    Rosanna Di Fiore

    Ashley Correia

    Bios

Holly Schefold is the owner and founder of Nourish Cooking Co, an online membership that enables children (and their parents) to become independent and self-reliant in the kitchen through plant based cooking classes. Holly has always been a self driven, entrepreneur at heart. As an AMI trained Montessorian, Holly worked with children for over 20 years both in the classroom and in the kitchen before she pivoted to start her own business due to vaccine mandates. Nourish Cooking Co. was born. Holly is passionate about educating children on how empowering it is to make their own foods from scratch. Holly completed her Precision Nutrition certification and went on to earn her Plant Based Nutrition certification from the T.Colin Campbell Institute. She’s appeared on a few local podcasts and in magazines. When not in the kitchen, Holly enjoys spending her time with her three children and husband at their cottage near Algonquin Park.

Rosanna is a proud mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt & community volunteer. She considers herself a conservative woman living her life as a traditional wife, homemaker and provider in a traditional marriage. Cooking barefoot is only one of her superpowers. She happily serves her family and often loves to brag about being CEO of her home more than any other title given to her in her past corporate life. She believes there is no more important role in society than motherhood. Her three children, Lucas, Martina, and Julian, and husband, Mario, are the fuel to her fire in this world. Cut from a different cloth, Rosanna’s grit, determination, integrity, and passion for what’s right and true makes her refreshingly real in such a curated world. A fierce protector, Rosanna is courageous enough to be viewed as unpopular as she advocates for who and what is nearest and dearest to her heart. Rosanna gives back to her community generously with her time by bringing people together, helping the less fortunate, and stimulating the human spirit. The fortitude of her gut instinct has been her biggest blessing in life. It’s helped her become fearless and unstoppable. It freed her from the existential fears and worries of the present time.

Ashley is a Canadian mom, and wife navigating this ever-changing world and figuring out the best way to raise her two beautiful boys. Although fear almost took her life, with a lot of help, and even more personal work, she embarked on a journey to sovereignty. She left her overachieving, people-pleasing, perfectionist self behind. Now she is a woman, with an abundance of belief, who is letting life unfold for her and her family upon the values of love, curiosity and communication! Ashley has been teaching primary aged children for 12 years in a large public board in Ontario. Most of her career was spent teaching Kindergarten, ages 4-6. This is where her heart lies and her light shines. Ashley also has a degree in Psychology (University of Western Ontario) and a Masters degree in Teaching (OISE, University of Toronto). Right now, Ashley is adventuring around Canada in her family trailer, making the best memories after a challenging few years, while also scoping out where to set roots for her family. You will find her bike riding, writing, doing yoga, floating in the ocean or lake, and going on daily adventures with her family. Follow Ashley on instagram @IamAshleyCorreia for her honest reflection on raising a family in this current Canada and to see where the next chapter leads her sovereign family in this weird and wonderful world.

  • Today I am speaking with 3 of the authors in the New Collaborative Book - Sovereign, that is now available to order on Amazon. https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0BH13XBXM In this episode, each author shares a little bit of the story they wrote in the book, and what the term Sovereign truly means to them. Meaghan Penney is a mom, wife, entrepreneur and proud member of the “Fringe Minority” here in Canada. She built a 5 figure business in 6 months, while pregnant, after she was deemed “non-essential” in 2020. She faces every hurdle in her life head on and with the idea that everything is happening for us not to us. She has worked hard these past two years to detach herself & her family from the system all while still building the life she has always dreamed of. When Meaghan is not glued to her office chair supporting incredible business owners build their legacies, you can find her soaking up every sweet moment with her family, watching true crime documentaries, baking bread, and sitting in her vegetable garden. Chelsie Meyers is a recovering perfectionist who is releasing herself from societal expectations and stepping into her authenticity. With a strong sense of curiosity and justice, she has spent hours researching everything from natural healing and holistic health to geopolitics and government corruption. Chelsie went from burning out in the educational system as a teacher, to tackling it head-on as a parent a decade later. Parents are key stakeholders in public education, and she is on a mission to restore that role. Chelsie’s ultimate goal is to live in alignment with her best self, trusting her intuition, opening her heart, and flowing in a state of simplicity and ease. As a lifelong learner, she continues to pursue her passions, expand her mind, and discover her life’s purpose. She lives in a small Alberta town with her supportive husband Kerry, their two amazing children, Ben and Lia, and their dog, Stella. Lindsey currently lives in Calgary, AB, with her husband, her one-year-old son, and her two fur kids – a tabby cat named Lulu and a Jack Rusell Terrier, Jovie. When she isn’t busy being a mom and a wife, she enjoys doing dog sports with Jovie, going for walks with her family, being in the kitchen baking delicious treats, and dreaming of her future homestead life. Friends describe her as determined, caring, strong-willed, and ambitious; someone who can be counted on in times of need. She is always working on some new, completely outrageous goal or project.

  • Roman Baber is a former Member of Ontario's Provincial Parliament. He is running for Leader of the Conservative Party of Canada because he will not "sit back while Canadians are losing faith in Canada's democracy and Canadian opportunity." He was removed by Doug Ford from the Ontario government caucus after calling out the collateral harm of lockdowns in January 2021. Since then, Roman has been a staunch advocate in favour of a balanced covid response and in particular against lockdowns due to their toll on the health and mental health of Canadians. Roman brought legislation to cut MPP pay to CERB levels while Emergency Orders are in place, commenced and is in litigation against the Attorney General of Ontario over Canadians' right to protest and worship outdoors, and recently brought a Bill to outlaw workplace mandates. Roman is passionate about and is well familiar with justice, transit and autism policy.

Roman was born and lived in the former Soviet Union until he was almost 9. He then lived in Israel until he immigrated to Canada with his family at age 15 and settled in the heart of the North Toronto district he now represents. Roman obtained a BA from York University and graduated from law school at the University of Western Ontario. During his last year of law school, Roman was a supervisor with the school's legal aid-funded clinic. Roman was called to the Ontario Bar in 2006 and practiced civil and commercial litigation until his election in 2018. He served as Chair of the Ontario Provincial Parliament’s Standing Committee on Justice Policy from September 2019 until January 2021.

Roman is an occasional lecturer at an after-school program, engaging high school students on constitutional and criminal law topics. He loves Canadian kindness, the Toronto Raptors, and his special someone, Nancy Marchese.

  • An interview with the only living signatory of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. What an honour and privilege to speak with The Honourable A. Brian Peckford P.C., on the current state of Canada. It's a long one, but worth every minute.

Brian was born August 27, 1942 in Whitbourne, Newfoundland.

He graduated from Lewisporte High School in 1960.

In 1966 he graduated with a BA in Education from Memorial University of Newfoundland.  He later did post graduate work in English Literature and Education Psychology.

He taught high school in Sprindgale, Newfoundland, and in 1972 he entered Provincial Politics.

In March 1972 Brian was elected the first Progressive Conservative MHA in the history of the riding at age 29.  Later that year he became Special and Parliamentary Assistant to the then Premier, Frank Moores.

In 1974 he was appointed Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing and in 1976 Minister of Mines and Energy.  While Minister of Mines and Energy, he also served for some time as Minister of Rural Development and Northern Affairs.

In March 1979 Brian won the Progressive Conservative leadership convention and became the third Premier of the Province since Confederation. He was at 36 the youngest first minister of Newfoundland since the First Prime Minister, Philip Little in 1855.

Brian became a strong advocate of Provincial Rights as manifested in his efforts to gain some control and revenues from the newly developing offshore oil and gas resources culminating in The Atlantic Accord.  This groundbreaking Agreement brought revenues to the Province as if the resources were on land, around $30 Billion to date, and a say in the management of the resource.

Brian was involved in the Constitutional Patriation Process of the early 1980’s leading to the Constitution Act of 1982.  It was Newfoundland’s proposal presented at the Conference that led to the breakthrough.  Brian is the only living First Minister of that Constitutional Process.

Mr. Peckford retired from politics in March 1989 and began a consulting company, with his wife Carol, assisting companies in Europe and North America.

He has written two books, the last, ‘Some Day The Sun Will Shine And Have Not Will Be No More,’ a Globe and Mail best seller in 2012.

He has received awards as an Outstanding Young Canadian and the Outstanding Contribution Award from the Newfoundland Ocean Industries Association.  He was sworn to the Privy Council by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth in 1982.

Brian has conducted inquires on behalf of the British Columbia Government and the Government of Canada.

Stay in touch with Brian at https://peckford42.wordpress.com/

He retired in 2001 and presently lives with his wife, Carol, in Parksville, British Columbia.

  • And one day in April of 2022, I found myself in the Medicine Hat Mall, interviewing one of the most inspiring people I have ever met. James Topp.Like many, James felt compelled to do something as a result of the Emergency Act being invoked for the peaceful protest in Ottawa, Ontario – also known as the Freedom Convoy. James is an exemplary model for our ability to make a difference, and that all it takes is an idea & commitment to follow through.

    Website

    Who is James Topp?

James Topp is a current serving soldier who has served in the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) for 28 years. James is in the process of being released and as such is a unique case of a current serving member engaging in peaceful protest openly. The Canada Marches team, and Canadians have come to know James as a man with great; humility, integrity, drive, leadership, and a desire to serve. Canada is getting to know him as well along the road.

James is keen to protect his mindful integrity by questioning the orders he is being given. He believes in, and talks about, rising above the classification of thoughts. He is keen to avoid identity politics, talking in circles about how we got here, and wants to implore solutions as well as open dialogue. He is often heard saying some version of:

"Can't we all just have respect and compassion for each other, and call it a day?".

This march exists for 3 reasons:

    James is protesting federal government mandates that require, as a condition for employment or continued employment, vaccination, testing, quarantine, and/or isolation;

    James has stepped forward to speak on behalf of those personnel employed by the federal government or otherwise who have been denied access to employment and services, who have lost income and have suffered from damaged relationships due to the imposition of a medical procedure;

James has also stepped forward to speak on behalf of those who have, through the introduction of false constructs surrounding choices and consequences, been pressured into taking part in medical procedures that they would not otherwise have accepted.

Please consider supporting James as he continues his march to Ottawa.
