Hi, to our lovely True Crimer's, thanks for listening and please help us spread the word by telling your friends and family about us.this is going to be another horrific one, thanks to Kim.trigger warning this is horrible as usual, and there is a little child involved, so if you can not stomach child abuse, please tune in next week for a more laid back episode.Elisa Izquierdo (Feb 11, 1989 – Nov 22, 1995) was a precious, innocent six-year-old Puerto Rican–Cuban-American little girl who died of a brain hemorrhage inflicted by her dreadful mother, Awilda Lopez.This all occurred at the height of a prolonged & increasing rampage of physical, mental, emotional, and sexual child abuse that took place between 1994 and 1995.It was described by authorities in NYC as the "worst case of child abuse they had ever seen."The life and death of Elisa Izquierdo first made national headlines when it became clear that the city's child welfare system, had missed many chances to intervene with her family and save her life.These failures to protect Elisa, became the inspiration for Elisa's Law, and increased accountability of all parties involved in child welfare within the city Elisa's Law was implemented in February 1996.Elisa has been referred to as a modern-day Cinderella because she had at first been under the protection of a loving father and had befriended Prince Michael of Greece, who had offered to pay for her private tuition until 12th grade—before being placed into the permanent custody of her mother.This terrible tale is unfortunately a true one.

Hi, to our lovely True Crimer's, thanks for listening and please help us spread the word by telling your friends and family about us.This week Kim is telling the awful tale of Sylvia Likens.trigger warning this is horrible beyond all belief, and is fairly graphic.Sylvia Likens was a 16 year old young lady who suffered brutal beatings and much more at the hands of Gertrude Baniszewski, many of Baniszewski's children, and several of their neighborhood friendsSylvia was increasingly neglected, belittled, sexually humiliated, beaten, starved, lacerated, and dehydrated by her tormentors. Her autopsy showed 150 wounds across her body, including several burns, scald marks and eroded skin. Through intimidation, her younger sister, Jenny, was occasionally forced to participate in her mistreatment. The official cause of her death was determined to be a homicide caused by a combination of subdural hematoma and shock, complicated by severe malnutrition.Her tragic story is particularly hard to listen to, it is truly shocking.have a listen kick back and get ready to have your mind blown by the depravity of mankind or in this case woman and child unkind.the worst part of this tale is the many people who knew what was happening and they did not report it to police or the Community Service workers who simply did not do their job.Please take care and stay safe, Love Steph and Kim xx

Hi, to our lovely True Crimer's, thanks for listening and please help us spread the word by telling your friends and family about us.This week Kim is telling the awful tale of Richard Ramirez.trigger warning this is horrible beyond all belief and very bad language is used in the depiction.He was named the Valley Intruder and the Night Stalker and the Walk in KillerRamirez's well known home invasion and murder crime spree terrorized the residents of the Greater Los Angeles area and later the residents of the San Francisco Bay Area from June 1984 until August 1985. He used a wide variety of weapons, including handguns, knives, a machete, a tire iron, and a claw hammer. In 1989, Ramirez was convicted of thirteen counts of murder, five attempted murders, eleven sexual assaults, and fourteen burglaries. The judge who upheld Ramirez's nineteen death sentences remarked that his deeds exhibited "cruelty, callousness, and viciousness beyond any human understanding". Hi, to our lovely True Crimer's, thanks for listening and please help us spread the word by telling your friends and family about us.This week Kim is covering an American convicted murderer and body snatcher.Ed received widespread attention in 1957 after Cops discovered he had exhumed corpses from local graveyards and made trophies and keepsakes from their bones and skin. Gein also confessed to killing two women: tavern owner Mary Hogan in 1954 and hardware store owner Bernice Worden in 1957.Gein was initially found unfit to stand trial and confined to a mental health facility. By 1968, he was judged competent to stand trial; he was found guilty of the murder of Worden, but he was found legally insane and was remanded to a psychiatric institution. He died at Mendota Mental Health Institute of respiratory failure, on July 26, 1984, aged 77. He is buried next to his family in the Plainfield Cemetery, in a now-unmarked grave. Hi Guys, thanks for listening This week the Steph is covering the terrible murders in a small town in NSW, known as the Bowraville murders.This story is about three aboriginal children that went missing over a 5 month period.Two of their bodies were found with headwounds and the Third, was never found.· The first victim, was 16-year-old Colleen Walker Craig
· She was last seen alive on 13 September 1990,
· articles of her clothing were later found weighed down by rocks in the Nambucca River.
· On 4 October 1990, Walker's cousin, four-year-old Evelyn Greenup, disappeared after a party at her grandmother's house.
· She was last seen by her mother as she was put to bed sometime during the night, but was gone by next morning.·
· On 27 April 1991, Greenup's skeletal remains were found in bushland near Congarinni Road.
· On 31 January 1991,
· 16-year-old Clinton Speedy-Duroux went missing after a party at The Mission.

This episode is not overly graphic, however there is a trigger warning as the storyline is pretty awful.The "Boy in the Box" is the name given to an unidentified murder victim, a 4-to 6-year-old boy, whose naked, battered body was found in a bassinet box in the Fox Chase section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on February 25, 1957. He is also commonly called "America's Unknown Child." His identity has never been discovered, and the case remains open.There are many theories about what happened to this little boy and Kim presents them in this episode.Police believe that there are still witnesses out there who can identify him, so if you know anything, please come forward.Investigators have now gained a DNA profile on the boy and hope to use this to identify him in the future.have a listen to this sad tale and have your tissues ready.Please take care and stay safe, Love Steph and Kim xx

This week Kim is covering a terrible tale of jealousy, hate and torture.Shanda Renee Sharer (June 6, 1979 – January 11, 1992)Was an American girl who was tortured and burned to death in Madison, Indiana by four teenage girls. She was 12 years old at the time of her death. The incident attracted international attention due to both the brutality of the murder and the young age of the perpetrators, who were aged between 15 and 17 years old. The case was covered on national news and talk programs and has inspired a number of episodes on fictional crime shows.This tale just shows how one person can manipulate a group into total submission and get them to perpetrate the most heinous and unthinkable crimes.The age of the victim is chilling as is the age of the perpetrators of this horrific crime.have a listen to what this young lady had to endure before her awful death.
