Hello friends!! On today's episode of the Ska Punk International podcast, I talk to Emily and Joe from Take Today. Last year, Take Today released the excellent Skadiving EP that also features a cover of Link 80's classic 'Up to the Top.' Skadiving is a re-imagining of their previously released song 'Skydiving.'
Both songs on the EP feature a huge roster of guest stars from bands like Flying Raccoon Suit, Matamoska, Catbite and Omnigone. I talked with Joe and Emily about how they balanced all of that without losing the soul of what made the original song so great.
We also talk about some of Take Today's history, Joe and Emily's other projects and spent a lot of time answering extremely unhinged questions from the SPI Patreon.

Eichlers has previously been on the show and is one of my favorite people. It's always so much fun to have him on but it's ESPECIALLY fun when I get to talk about new music with him. My Checkered Future is without a doubt one of the most innovative ska albums of all-time. I'm so honored that he was willing to spend time breaking it all down with me.
