Karen Gillan has confirmed that the fourth installment of Jumanji is still in the works, much to the excitement of fans. Director Jake Kasdan had announced the sequel in March 2020 after the success of Jumanji: The Next Level in 2019. However, due to the actors' unavailability and the 2023 strike, updates on the project have been scarce. The delay is understandable given the circumstances. Dwayne Johnson, busy with Disney's live-action Moana and his superhero debut in DC's Black Adam, will reprise his role as Dr. Xander. The cast also includes Jack Black, Kevin Hart, Cate Blanchett, Jamie Lee Curtis, Ariana Greenblatt, among others, making it challenging to coordinate schedules. The latest addition to the Suits universe, Suits LA, introduces Bryan Greenberg from One Tree Hill to join the lead cast including Stephen Amell, Josh McDermitt, Lex Scott Davis, Troy Winbush, and Alice Lee. Despite facing unexpected challenges with the release of Madame Web, Sony remains undeterred with its latest releases Kraven the Hunter and Venom 3. The studio has however revealed a shift in release date for Venom 3 to October 25 from the initially announced November 8 date. While plot details are kept secret, Tom Hardy is set to reprise his role as Eddie Brock/Venom. The film, titled Venom 3: The Last Dance, will also feature Juno Temple, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Clark Backo. Directed by debutant Kelly Marcel, who co-wrote the story with Hardy, the movie promises an IMAX debut on Premium Large Format and fans can stream the previous franchise instalments on Netflix.

According to recent reports, Ming-Na Wen will join the cast of The Karate Kid sequel. Ming-Na Wen, best known for playing Fennec Shand in the Disney+ series The Book of Boba Fett, a spinoff of The Mandalorian, stars in the upcoming film alongside Joshua Jackson, Ralph Macchio, Jackie Chan, and Ben Wang. CBS has officially given the green light for a spinoff of Young Sheldon centred around characters Georgie played by Montana Jordan and Mandy played by Emily Osment.
