Join us as we put a Shadow Carriers spin on the lore of the ship most famous for carrying evergreen trees from Michigan to Chicago every holiday season. The S.S. Kamloops was a Canadian freighter that vanished in a storm on Lake Superior in 1927, taking all 22 crew members with it. For 50 years, the ship remained hidden at the bottom of the lake, until it was discovered by divers in 1977. In today's episode, you will take a dive with these explorers and encounter the hauntings of one of the most chilling and mysterious of Lake Superior’s shipwrecks.

On September 15, 1901, the S. S. Hudson left Duluth with a cargo of wheat and flax, bound for Buffalo. It was a fine steel vessel, fast and sturdy. But the next day, a fierce storm swept across Lake Superior, and the Hudson vanished without a trace. No distress signals were heard, no wreckage was found, and no survivors were ever recovered. What happened to the Hudson and its crew? And why do some people claim to have seen the Hudson sailing the lake as a ghost ship, over a century after its sinking? Today we explore the mysteries of this tragedy through the music of legendary Great Lakes folk singer, Lee Murdock.

There are 42 cemeteries in the New Orleans area - all with stories to tell. However, in 2002, when the final resting place of over 150,000 souls was threatened with being turned into a city bus stop, the denizens of the earth decided to cry out at the injustice. The disturbances in the area became so intense that the city called in a psychic medium to investigate. What they would uncover would change the way the City That Survives would grieve its past forever.

One of the oldest roads in New Orleans has called Bienville. In days past it was called Shell Road. And on this road, in the outskirts of town, a grizzled old timer was walking into a trap.
Despite hidden treasure, a robbery turned to murder, and one last family reunion with a ghost, this story seems to have been forgotten by most, but not Shadow Carriers. Hear the rarely told tale of…the Californian!
