Losing a job can be a challenging experience for anyone, but for migrants, it can bring additional hurdles beyond the loss of income. As a Migrant you’re likely living away from your support systems, and can be faced with the complexities of dealing with legal, social, and economic implications when faced with losing a job.
In this episode, we are exploring some of the implications that can come from losing a job as an immigrant. These can include issues such as the time-sensitive nature of finding new employment for some visa holders, getting laid off while on maternity leave as well as the potential social and career setbacks that can be associated with job loss for a migrant.

On today's episode I talk about how I am starting to use what I call the " Feel Good Measurement" when it comes to my body and weight. I go into the different drivers that brought about this new way of "measuring" myself about from the influence of media to society at large. I delve into what it means for me to use feeling good as a measurement and how I see it move me forward in living a lifestyle that I know from previous experience makes me feel good, energized and gives my body and brain the nutrients they need to function optimally. I also go into how I am extending my feel good measurement into other areas of life and call on you to find and do more of the things that make you feel good, not only in the moment but long-term.
