We talk about how damaging purity culture is, specifically in the Mormon church, for survivors of sexual abuse, how there is no space for those in the LGBTQ+ community, and the different standards the Mormon church, and many organized religions, have for men and women. We share our personal experiences with purity culture and working through sexual repression and talk about how helpful therapy can be when working through sexual repression. We also talk about the books we’re currently reading and how our growing to be read lists are stressing us out.
