    Meditation is a daily dose of Love. Meditation is for everyone (guided and non-guided) and enables us to develop self-reliance, self-trust and self-acceptance by creating life from the inside out. You focus on the present and release mental and spiritual blocks that heal the physical.

    Indira and I discuss several tips to get started into meditation (environment, duration, time of day, etc.), as well as several reasons why some are reluctant to start meditating.

  • Indira Kennedy shares her 8 Elements for Self Mastery and conducts a 'live' practice of Attunement.

    Think of it like finding the right frequency on a radio. Once the signal is clear, you find harmony amongst your emotion, instinct and energy. The practice will raise your vibration to a higher level - the result is powerful - you will supercharge your Spiritual Warrior! You will be able to respond with appropriate language and behaviors based on your or another person's emotional state.

    According to Indira, Founder & Director of Conscious Leadership, Attunement builds upon the 8 Elements that we have discussed.

    We are white belts and with practice, we can become black belts. The world around us will benefit from your clarity and harmony regardless of external forces. You will get out of your own way.

  • Our series with Indira Kennedy and the 8 Elements for Self Mastery continues by aligning heart and mind with the right attention through Journaling.

    The symbol of Heart and Hand joined in purposeful action is a powerful one.

    According to Indira, Founder and Director of Conscious Leadership, the practice of Journaling is a way to catch inspirations, contemplate change and understandings about life. Among so many benefits that you will discover for yourself, you have a record of your way to measure your progress.

    This practice goes beyond a written or typed 'Dear Diary' moment. How you journal is up to you, but Indira shares how you can be more effective.

    Indira shares her process

    Pick your time of day - morning, afternoon or evening. Grab pen and paper (you learn and retain better through writing instead of typing)Take a few deep breaths and simply write or draw your 'thoughts'Reflect, process, and learn.

    As you write, you will clean your slate, bring hindsights into insights to greater foresights and build self trust.

    The book you carry under your arm will become your wisest teacher.

  • Our weekly series with Indira Kennedy and her 8 Elements for Self Mastery continues as we delve into deeper thought with Contemplation.

    Would you rather have a way of exploring your thoughts in ways that actually lead you out of the maze of possibilities and straight to the richest answers? The process is simple, the practice is mastered over time!

    According to Indira, Founder and Director of Conscious Leadership, the practice of contemplation is key to leadership. It starts with thinking and then goes beyond it. Contemplation uses the skills of Mindfulness to ask for deeper answers beyond the rational brain by going into the Knowledge of the Heart. This Knowledge is pure wisdom.

    Indira shares and encourages a simple process to bring this to life:

    Think of your dilemma and spending time WRITING out all the details - what is the real dilemma?Create a question that will help you crystallize the answer to your dilemma - go deeper and beyond. Sit quietly and be STILL. BREATHE. WRITE down what comes to mind.Repeat steps 2-4 at least 3 times - you may receive a different answer. The answer from your heart is usually the truth. See what the answer means to you and how you apply it to your original dilemma - journal and decide what action you will take.

    It may sound simple - it will become so. Practice this over time, ensure you set aside quality time to do it and as you improve, you will be ready to link it to the other Elements in moments of calm or storm.

When I was growing up, I used to say "I'm sorry" for being mischievous (we all did!), until I was 'gently' reminded that when you say 'sorry,' you are committing to not repeat that act. Say what?

  • Fake it till you make it - say what?

    This can be an uneasy topic until you pull back the layers and delve into what this can mean to you. I'm not encouraging you to be an imposter.

    The key lies in your motivation and intentions. If your motivation is genuine and you put in the work, the process will lead you to genuine results.

    Else, if you're not being real and immersing yourself in it, you will get called out on your bulls**t!

    Fred and I explore and navigate this topic through changes in mood, careers and hobbies.

    This topic struck a cord with me on many levels as I reflect on the intent of changes I have made in my life. Hope this strikes the right cord with you.
