On May 18, 1989, 2-year-old Christopher Dansby was playing with his mother at the Martin Luther King Jr. Towers playground in Harlem, New York. His mother, Allison Dansby, needed to run an errand and left Christopher in the care of her own mother. Upon Allison's return, Christopher was nowhere to be found, vanishing without a trace. Then, nearly three months later on August 10, 1989, one-year-old Shane Anthony Walker was also at the same playground in Harlem with his mother, Rosa Glover, when Rosa was momentarily distracted, Shane disappeared. The circumstances of these disappearances raise questions, was there a potential connection in these cases or was this an inexplicable coincidence? Regardless these cases have baffled not only investigators, but the families and their community alike.
Anyone with information about Shane or Christopher is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1800-577-TIPS or you can call the New York Police Department at 646-610-6914 or the New York Housing Police Department at 212-410-8500. 8

Leah Roberts seemingly took off on a spontaneous cross-country trip to see the beautiful mountains in Washington that her favorite author, Jack Kerouac, had once described. She had been through several tragedies and was living her “second chance” at life, but 9 days after she left her home in North Carolina, her car was found crashed and abandoned. And Leah has never been seen since.
Leah Roberts is currently classified as endangered missing. At the time of her disappearance, she had blonde hair and blue eyes and was about 5’6” and 130lbs. She has a surgical scar on her right hip and a metal rod in her leg. She has pierced ears and dimples. She would be 47 years old today. Anyone with any information can contact the Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office at 360-676-6650.

While her daughter witnessed a suspect jogging away, there wasn’t enough evidence to tie the main suspect, her boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend Mary Jo Lunsmann, to the murder. 38 years later, an arrest was made, and that suspect, now 80 years old, is currently awaiting trial.

Denise Huskins was abducted while spending the night at her boyfriend’s home in March 2015, but when Aaron Quinn went to report what had happened, he immediately became a suspect. The Vallejo Police Department called her abduction a hoax and stood by that belief until a break in the case came thanks to Detective Misty Carausu 3 months later. Denise’s story is the subject of Netflix’s new series ‘American Nightmare’, and this episode is a deep dive into the case, topics not talked about in the docuseries, and our discussion of the story.

Shemika Cosey was 16-years-old girl when she vanished from Berkeley, Missouri on December 28, 2008, between 1:30 and 8:30 a.m. It was at her aunt's residence, where she had spent the night with her cousin, that she was last seen. Despite the absence of evident foul play, Shemika’s family is convinced that someone is responsible for her disappearance. They firmly believe that something must have happened to her, as she would not have stayed missing for such an extended period without some kind of issue arising. The family is haunted by questions: Did she leave with an alleged older guy? Was she trafficked? Did she suffer harm due to information she had confided in an alleged boyfriend? Anyone in possession of information about Shemika’s disappearance is urged to reach out to the Berkeley Police Department at (314)-524-3311, or alternatively, contact NCMEC at 1-800-THE-LOST (1-800-843-5678).
