In the 19th Patreon bonus podcast you join me as I investigate a building dating from 1825, which is today the largest independent library outside of London. This was the first public building lit by an electric lightbulb and in 1830 a mummy from Egypt was unwrapped right here.
But what would happen when, joined by fellow Geordie podcaster, Icy Sedgwick, we attended a fundraising ghost hunt at this historic location in our home town. Some have claimed that this building could be the home of 16 individual spirits, including a former librarian who still the flicks through the books after dark.

A popular holiday park built around a 13th century castle. This is not your typical location for a paranormal investigation, a holiday park full of luxury caravans and holiday makers spending their weekends boating on the lake, or playing on the arcades and fruit machines. In the 18th Patreon bonus podcast we return once more to York, and in particular to a hotel in the shadow of York Minster which was originally built between 1864 and 1865 as three separate dwellings for the Dean of York Minster, to house the Clergy.
But what would happen when my team and I stepped foot inside this hotel, which has been labelled the most haunted in York by some, considering that only two weeks before our investigation the hotel had made the local news when a guest was pulled out of bed by his feet by unseen hands.

Paul, a violent entity who lurks in the ladies toilets, George who remains within the Travelling Post Office, and still takes huge pride in his work, many years following his passing, a tall man in a top hat, a mischievous spirit who likes to mess up the gift shop after dark, the archives has been the scene of terrifying possessions, and a haunted train carriage which was once used as a mobile brother by the Nazis during the second world war.

The second annual Nightmare Before Christmas special is upon us, and in this special episode I will read real ghost stories from listeners. Christmas is intrinsically linked with the telling of ghost stories, so it seems like the perfect time to tell these stories of timeslips, premonitions, gifts from beyond the grave, and frightening encounters with the dead.

This time we head to Gloucestershire where we step foot inside a mansion dating from the mid-19th century that was constructed at great cost, but never finished when the builders left refusing the return. It has never been a home, well not for the living anyway, as it appears that the great house which was abandoned from the beginning is home to a number of spirits, some more darker and dangerous than the others.
