I realized that 👁️vision and 💜heart are key parts of building a strategic plan for your finances.

Learning the below core strategies helped me and my family go from living paycheck to paycheck with no way out to ➡️➡️➡️becoming confident investors, property owners, and business owners.

Time and time again I always come back to these three key strategies with my financial coaching clients.

The top 3 strategies to build wealth:

    1. Wealth systems
    2. Money growth
    3. Money mindset emotions & support

Which one are you paying the least attention to right now?

What’s been your biggest challenge so far in that area?

Message me on instagram @adinaappelbaum to share and I’m happy to reply with some quick financial tips, my gift!

  • Part of tapping into your entrepreneurial heart is realizing you’re ALREADY an entrepreneur.

You don’t need to have a business currently.

If you’re at all wanting to tap into your entrepreneurial heart inside, trust me, you’re ALREADY an entrepreneur.

Listen to this episode to hear 4 key steps how you can TAP FURTHER into your inner entrepreneurial heart that’s already here by clearing the space and energy needed to allow it to EXPRESS itself & CREATE.

You have an entrepreneurial heart if something inside dreams of creating, innovating, serving others with larger impact, having a business, getting to work for yourself, creating solutions for some of the world’s biggest problems….

It may be that in your job you are an innovator. A leader. A disrupter. A thought leader. Developing new ideas, projects, programs, and solutions.

This was me before I started my very first online business.

I had already been behaving as an entrepreneur for years as an immigration attorney by creating new innovative projects and programs.

I only realized it years later after I had already started an online business...

Once I saw I had always been an entrepreneur at heart, it felt like my chest BLEW open. 💥

A huge weight had been lifted. I no longer had to start from scratch.

This allowed me to go from feeling financially trapped to seeing endless potential. It gave me the shift I needed to go to my next level, buy our dream home, & build the family I previously thought I couldn’t afford.

Ready to hear more? Listen to this episode to learn how to tap into your inner entrepreneurial heart and set yourself on a path of financial empowerment and expansion.

🚪 Once you open the door, whether it’s seeing that you already are an entrepreneur at heart, or opening the space to allow it to come through, you never look back. It’s like learning to ride a bike. 🚲

The door and possibilities only open further and further. 🌟

  • Choosing between meaning and money is a trap.

Have you found yourself feeling stuck needing to decide between the two?

    Perhaps you’ve been told:

    >> You can only give back once you make a lot of money.

    Or rather:

    >> That if you focus on money, you are greedy, selfish, and not prioritizing serving others.

But having to pick meaning OR money is a FALSE CHOICE.

I know because I've experienced this inner dilemma in my own journey.

In this episode, for the first time I am sharing my own personal online business story, and the journey I've gone on in "the Meaning vs. Money F*ckloop" -- a belief construct that keeps us restricted in thinking that we must choose EITHER meaning and following our purpose OR money.

From my nonprofit career journey of focusing only on pursuing meaning to my family's financial struggles and feeling like I had to choose between the two, to starting an impactful online business and learning how it can be both/and - meaning and money - listen in to hear my MOST vulnerable episode yet.

Sharing my experience of struggling in and eventually busting out of the Meaning vs. Money F*ckloop, I touch on the shortcomings of the traditional approach to business that prioritizes profits over people.

In this episode I show you how I learned to blend core business strategies and skills with a focus on purpose and impact to develop a more aligned approach to business, finances, and life.

An approach that balances BOTH meaning AND money.

Listen in to learn how to overcome the false choice of needing to pick either meaning or money for good so you can build a life that aligns with your purpose and has financial peace of mind.

  • Investing: it’s not about the money.  It’s about expansion.

Most people invest because they want more money. Why? To feel safety and security.

THE ACTUAL TRUTH is... investing for these reasons can actually be RESTRICTIVE and severely LIMIT the potential of your investment earnings and growth.

Money is a made up human concept.

It’s actually just a symbol to exchange value.

As long as our sense of safety and security is based on it, we’ll never feel safe.

Instead, we can see money and investments as always expanding and growing, just like nature and the larger universe.

Listen to episode 183 of the Finance Business & Purpose Podcast to explore investing from a place of expansion, instead of restriction.

Stay tuned for guided journaling questions at the end of the episode to help you APPLY this powerful reframe to increase the power of your investing strategy!

  • Have you thought about becoming a coach but thought, "there's already too many coaches out there"?

This belief stops many people from starting an online coaching business.

Here’s the thing. There is no one else out there in the world who has had the same life experiences, perspectives, and life lessons you have had.

    Read that again.

No one else can offer the same guidance the way you can, because they have not lived the way you have.

And there are people out there who only YOU are meant to help and serve at this moment in their journey.

When you understand this, you’ll know how to overcome it quickly the next time that pesky self-doubt comes up about your ability to start an online coaching business.

In this episode, I’m going to show you how to move past fears getting in the way of starting a coaching business for good so you can move forward.

    You’ll also learn:

How to get past the common misbelief that you need a certification, degree, or other permission from others to become a coach

  • There does not need to be any secret to financial freedom.

But why do people make achieving financial freedom sound like such a mystery?

It's because we are never taught the foundations of personal finance and wealth building in school or society.

Here’s the thing. While financial freedom means something different for everyone, there are certain building blocks that are helpful for all to learn when building their own unique path to get there.

In Ep. 179: 5 Steps to Achieving Financial Freedom, I’m going to show you 5 steps how to start to achieve financial freedom so you can move past the mystery of how to do so and start taking action to get there.

  • When your cup is empty, it's impossible to keep filling the cup for others.

But how can we fill our own cup when we have sooo many responsibilities to take care of others, from aging parents to young children to siblings to colleagues and clients who depend on us?

It's about learning to prioritize yourself first.

I know, when I first heard this concept, I thought, but "that's so selfish!"

A recovering people pleaser, it felt really uncomfortable to even prioritize myself at all. Nevermind put myself first.

    Here’s the thing.

If you don't fill your cup first, you won't be able to keep filling the cup for others. At some point, you'll run out. There will be nothing left to give.

    Read that again.

But when you understand how taking time to fill your own cup allows you to actually be in a position to serve others more, you’ll know how to turn things back around quickly the next time you're feeling depleted and burnt out from constantly giving and giving.

In this episode I’m going to show you how to be there for others by taking care of your own finances, business, and self care. You’ll also learn:

How to start planning for both your own personal finances and the financial needs for family members who rely on you

The two key ingredients how to fill your own cup in business - to build a sustainable business foundation - so you can show up and focus on what it's really all about - people and purpose

How much to weigh your own self care as well

Listen to Ep. 178: How to Fill Your Own Cup So You Can Fill the Cup for Others if you're ready to stop putting yourself last (or not even on the list...) so you can REALLY be there for those who need you.

  • Did you know you can 10x your goals for the year through even the smallest tweaks?

And even by scrapping some of your plans you had from the beginning of the year?

In this episode, I guide you through the process of checking in with yourself on how things are going so far the first half of this year by sharing some of my own story and process.

By re-evaluating what’s working and not working, you can give yourself an opportunity to be real with yourself about what changes you can make to propel your growth forward for the second half of the year.

Sometimes it's the smallest shifts and tweaks that can make all the difference.

As we are about half way through the year, join me to check in on how any goals you set in the beginning of the year have been going and how to make changes accordingly.

I discuss some lessons in how I have been able to continue to grow during the first half of 2023, despite facing challenges.

Some key takeaways we will get into in the show:

*How to be less hard on yourself and change the framing from feeling failure/shame/pressure/guilt for not meeting certain goals

*How to give yourself more freedom and flexibility to allow your goals to change and evolve organically.

*How to re-assess your goals given you are a different person than you were in the beginning of 2023. It’s ok for goals to change! Goals you anticipated in the beginning of the year may no longer apply or no longer feel good.

*How to allow room for spaciousness, that’s where expansion you might not have been able to even imagine when previously goal-setting happens (I dive deeper on this in the show)

What shifts and tweaks do you plan to make for the rest of 2023? DM me on IG @adinaappelbaum or @immigrant.finance -- I would love to hear!!

  • Systems are powerful because they allow you to free up time and energy to focus on your most creative and important work that excites you.

By automating repetitive, mundane tasks that suck up so much time, you can streamline tasks that get you down and become an energy suck.

Originally from Argentina, guest speaker and systems expert Sofia Scott tells her story of moving to the U.S. when she was 5 years old and going on to build a wide-ranging career across international development and aid, business development, project management, business analysis, and most recently, private sector technology program management for large companies like Microsoft.

Sofia gives highly valuable tips and strategies on how to start building systems when you are just starting a business. In this episode, learn:

-How to start thinking about building processes and systems in your business step by step

-How to identify tasks to automate and reduce duplicative steps

-Strategies to develop the same way to get the same result each time for recurring actions in your business, instead of having to figure out different ways each time

  • Have you been feeling stuck, with a burning desire to make a larger impact but not sure how to channel it most effectively?

    What's causing that?

Turns out you're not alone - many people are feeling this deep question brewing. Like something is missing. That there is a greater purpose calling.

In this episode, I discuss how I similarly felt deep frustration, knowing I had so much more in me to create and serve others with. (And how, ultimately, this moved me toward creating Immigrant Finance.)

Listen to learn about larger astrological transformations happening for the next nearly 20 years as Pluto has entered Aquarius, which will define our generation, and what they mean for you in terms of your finances, business endeavors, and purpose.

When you understand the context of how these shifts are happening, you’ll have more insight into whatever frustrations may be coming up for you in this area and what direction they might be moving you toward, for the better.

In this episode I’m going to show you how some of the astrology in the skies above helps shed light on why many of us have been feeling these struggles so we can each move into a space more oriented toward focusing on the betterment of the world.

  • Feel like prioritizing your own financial situation would be at odds with your passion to serve others?

    What's causing that?

Unfortunately, many of us have been taught that focusing on our own needs is selfish, in conflict with our values, and greedy.

This is definitely something I've struggled with over the years having worked in the public interest/social justice space for about 15 years.

Here’s the thing. Even if you are able to do meaningful work serving others while struggling with finances yourself, your capacity to make the impact you could be making is more limited than it needs to be.

    Read that again.

But when you understand why it doesn't have to be either/or, you’ll know how to reframe it when it comes up for you.

In this episode, I’m going to show you how to start to move past the belief that you have to sacrifice yourself for good so you can move forward, find more financial peace of mind, and expand your impact. You’ll also learn:

*Why it's important to prioritize your finances so you can serve others

*The continuum I use to think about finding abundance, as something that does not involve gluttony at the expense of others

*What to do when you find yourself struggling financially

*How to take action learning about finances (finally!) break free from getting in your own way of accessing financial security

--> Listen to Ep. 168: Prioritizing Your Finances So You Can Serve Others if you're ready to stop keeping yourself stuck in scarcity beliefs at your own expense and be in a position to serve others with a greater impact.
