What are you waiting to feel ready to do?
Did you know that 95% of the time we never actually 'feel' ready... Think about it - when was the last time you felt ready to do something outside your comfort zone, something you haven't done before?
In this episode I am introducing you to the concept of willingness and to the idea that being ready is actually having the thought "I am willing to..." I am willing to do it unsure, I am willing to go first, I am willing to figure this out.

Believing we are either giving 100% or we are giving nothing. I've either got what it takes or I don't. I can do it or I can't. Black or white. No in-between.
The problem with this kind of thinking is it leads to quitting, to beating ourselves up, to chipping away at our self-esteem.
All-or-nothing thinking prevents us from growing, adapting and generally enjoying anything that isn't perfect.

Toxic positivity is the assumption that you should be positive all the time even in difficult situations.
This approach is damaging because it doesn’t allow room for how we genuinely feel & it further re-enforces the lie that we shouldn’t feel bad or we shouldn’t experience negative emotions, which simply isn't true.
The positive reframe is acknowledging what’s going on - what feels true for you & exploring what else you know to be true through a more encouraging & supportive lens.
When the time is right positively reframing our experiences help us move forward & feel better.
