  • Today’s episode is a bit of a spinoff from last week’s episode with my friend Ellen, where we talked about how to operate your business from a masculine and feminine approach. In this episode, I’m peeling back the layers and elaborating a little more. I’ll share how I used to operate my business, and how I evolved to the way that I operate it now. My hope is that by sharing this journey, I will be able to help others navigate their own energy in how they run their businesses and their lives.

  • Today I have Mark Drager, and in this episode, we’re getting tactical about how to build an agency (and build a business in general) and how to deal with the hustle burnout.

Mark Drager founded his creative production company in 2006, grew it to a little over $2m in annual revenue, and then slowly watched as it all crumbled around him. Through the hard lessons learned and working to not make the same mistakes twice, today Phanta Media focuses less on growth and “keeping the machine fed” and more on doing extraordinary work with really cool people. As a brand strategist, Mark also understands the need to be courageous and has developed a killer process that can help you make your next courageous move.

It’s an all-in-one platform where you can house your domain, your images, videos, handle email marketing, and house your course or membership. It’s very user-friendly and easy to handle, and has developers working around the clock to keep your website from going down.

  • This week’s episode is a replay from when I interviewed Andy Ortega, a Solutions Consultant for Kajabi. Andy and I used to work together at Kajabi, and today, we’re going to dive DEEP into why Kajabi is so great and why it’s truly my favorite platform.

What is Kajabi? Founded about 10 years ago, Kajabi is an all-in-one platform for online courses, marketing, blogging, web design, and so much more… but a lot of people still haven’t heard of it. What can you do with Kajabi? You can create online courses, market those courses, build a website, build an email list all in one place without the need for third-party products.

The beauty of Kajabi is that it centralizes everything you could need to run an online business. Instead of needing multiple platforms (one for your website, one for your email list, one for your course, and so on and so forth), Kajabi includes all these tools in one place, saves you money, saves you time, and the possibilities are endless.

Grab your cup of coffee and join us as we talk about:

The basics of Kajabi: what it is, how you can use itHow does Kajabi measure up? Comparing Kajabi with other platforms like Wordpress, Squarespace, Wix, ClickFunnels, and more. How to get started on Kajabi: the onboarding process, how the support staff can help you, and Andy’s best adviceKajabi FAQs: your questions answered!

What do you think? Are you ready to take the plunge into Kajabi?

  • It’s been a few weeks since we’ve released a new episode, so thank you for your patience! Sometimes we need to take time for ourselves, and all you entrepreneurs can empathize with the ebbs and flows of entrepreneurship and needing to step back every now and then. Feelings of stress, anxiety, and burnout are all normal. You just have to find a way to hit the reboot button and get grounded. For me, that means getting out in nature. All I needed was to be present without my phone in nature to feel refreshed.

As we continue our website series, today’s episode is all about how to choose the right website platform for you based on your industry. We’ll be diving even deeper in the next few episodes about many of the common website platforms, SEO and more!

Personally, I use Kajabi and ShowIt, and because of that, I know a ton about both of them. I’m going to go over some of the other platforms today, but full disclosure: I’m not an expert in any of these, and I recommend doing your research and due diligence when finding a platform. The #1 question I ask myself when choosing a platform or a software is: “Can this support me 4-5 years from now? Will this platform grow with me and my business?”

The best platforms for each industryDoes a service provider need an all-in-one platform?Limitations of common platformsThe difference between a developer and a designer: which one should you hire?

  • Today’s episode is the first in a series of several episodes that are going to dive into websites! I’m really excited about these (I am a web designer after all!) and I’m hoping to cover all facets of websites: how they can help your business, how websites can help you scale your businesses, SEO, looking at all the website platforms (Kajabi, Showit, Squarespace, Wordpress, and Wix) and which one might be right for you, and more!

So kicking off this mini-series is today’s solocast where I’m going to talk about the ways that having a website can help grow and scale your business. From SEO to email lists to making money in your sleep, there is so much that a strategically (and I say strategically on purpose) designed website can do for you and your business.

  • Ellen MacKenzie is a corporate escapee turned 6-figure social media strategist and coach. She’s based in New Zealand and recently celebrated two years full-time in her business. In this episode, we’re going to talk about everything instagram, how Ellen started her business, and how she was able to build a 6-figure business with only 3,000 followers on instagram.

Ellen is a self-proclaimed serial side-hustler and always had both an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for the internet, even as a teenager with a blog. After feeling burned out and miserable in her corporate job, she discovered social media management, and after building a side hustle and experiencing what that life could bring her, she finally left the safety (and the misery) of her corporate job and never looked back.
