We are giving a second chance to Robert Egger's The Lighthouse, Chris and Dave both didn't like this movie the first time around now let us tell you how we felt on our second viewing.

We have always maintained that A24 is.....well, a mixed bag. Movies like Hereditary or Midsommar can seem genius to some and boring to others. What can't be denied, however, is the effect that said movies have had on horror and horror authors. Dystopian and horror author, Davide Tarsitano was nice enough to come by the show to promote his latest book, "Hollow," and to tell us how certain A24 projects have impacted him and his work.

This week we are giving praise to The Father of Zombies, the Godfather of the Dead we are ranking George A Romero's top films, Chris and Dave each made a list to compare and talk about it, so listen and see how similar or different each list is. Feel free to let us know who had the better list Chris or Dave.

Space!! It's a huge place, but there's only room for one winner in these matches. Sure, we could have pitted two classics like Alien or The Thing against each other. But what fun is that? We want movies that don't usually end up in that discussion. Enter Slither in this corner and Event Horizon in the next. It doesn't matter if you stay here on earth or go millions of years into space.....death will find a way to come get you.
-
This week was Dave's pick of The House of the Devil, a 2009 Ti West film, a film that we both went into blind see what we think of it, also we had homework of Dave watching Paranorman and Chris watching Hell House LLC. 2

It is the return of the Return (of the Living Dead II) star, William Perry kicking off our guest list for Season 6 of Bodybag Podcast. Keeping up the momentum from his first book, "By His Hand," William just released the sequel, "Out of His Mind." With that kind of title, I'm assuming it's an autobiography. Then we are treated to some more of Perry's Hollywood stories and the fun he had being in Return of the Living Dead II.
"By his Hand" and "Out of his Mind" are both available via Amazon and you can also peruse Perry's other projects on his website: williamrperrystunts.com.

Finally, the long break is over, and we are back with a new movie review. We are starting with Robert Eggers' 2015 The Witch, and discussing our love hate relationship with A24 and Robert Eggers movies.
-
After the bad Christmas movies, we are hoping that this year's Christmas movies are an improvement, and we are starting with 2015's Krampus nothing says Christmas like arguing with your family so much you summon the anti-santa.

Hold up. Before you go any further, I'm gonna need you to take a sip of this holy water. It's not that I don't trust you, but you look like the kind of person who would consort with demonic entities and vampiric overlords. It is the final Versus battle of the season and it's a real nail biter. Two hosts. Two movies. Two films that neither Dave or Chris have seen before. Listen to hear which is the definitive vampire movie and whose gamble paid off.
-
It is time for the final movie review of the season as we review Dave's guilty pleasure movie 1999's House on Haunted Hill, we also review our homework of Death Becomes Her and Knock at the Cabin which leads to some heated discussion.
-
HEY COLLEGE KIDS!!!! We got yer review right here! All is not what it seems in this episode of Bodybag Podcast. It's time that we hear things from a different perspective, And whose perspective would that be? The misunderstood American Hillbilly. However, before we pay respects to ol Tuck and Dale, we gotta go over some homework. This week, Chris Thomas goes to Japan to review a newly released Breakfast Club-esque paranormal horror, "Re/Member," while Dave makes sure he holds onto his kidneys as he reviews "Repo: The Genetic Opera."
-
Happy Halloween everyone and do we have a treat for as we go back to season to rereview Trick 'r Treat. Hope you enjoy as we go over all the rules of Halloween you should never break, we also give you rules if you ever find yourself in a horror movie.
-
It's time to pay tribute to those few individuals who will stop at nothing to complete their life's work. "I don't care how many people I kill or what crimes against nature I commit! My work is too important!" Brokewriter Dave and Chris understand this plight. Hosting a horror podcast is just as important as inventing teleportation or developing a serum that conquers death......JUST AS IMPORTANT. So, it is time to honor two legends of Mad Science: Seth Brundle from the 1986 movie "The Fly" and Herbert West from 1985's "Re-Animator."
-
It's time for round 3, tied one win a piece. Who will win this week, well it be Chris with his selection of Terrifier 2 or will it be Dave with his selection of Friday the 13th Part. 2? Let us know what movie you think is better.
-
Remember, just because you're seeing things that no one else can, doesn't mean your crazy. Maybe you're being tormented by a vengeful spirit......AND your crazy. This week on Bodybag, we got friend of the show, author Christopher Frost, to come back on to promote his new novella, "A Walk in the Desert." Only on Bodybag podcast will you find Frost in the desert. Then we go supernatural and review a 90's ghost movie (and movie with a discount Shining subplot) "Stir of Echoes." A great way to get the month of October officially kicked off.
-
This evening's first course will be Chris' review of Ginger Snaps, then to be followed by our second course Brokewriterdave's review of The Burbs, and finally our main course our review of The Menu.
-
They say that time heals all wounds. Does it though? Years ago, one movie set the standard for what Chris and Dave considered as a "Bad Movie." Now that some time has passed and dozens of movies have been reviewed, can they say without a shadow of a doubt that Venom was the worst movie they have ever seen?
-
We go back to where it all started for us, as we take another look at the Fear Street Trilogy. If you been a fan since the beginning, then you know we started with Fear Street and it is time to see if we still feel the same way about it.
-
Shhhhhh! Nobody make a sound. "They're under the ground!" After years of neglect, Dave and Chris finally pay tribute to the underrated classic that is Tremors and the unsung hero that is Burt Gummer. But only after they've done their homework and discussed their movie assignments; Lake Mungo and Gonjiam Haunted Asylum.
-
It is time for another battle, listen and see what movie wins, will it be A Quiet Place or 28 Weeks Later.
