  • Austin Lonneberg (comedian) joins the show for the first time to tell us about a time he had to block a Redditor after the Reddit guy made fun of Austin's comedy and then when Austin went to check out his profile, he revealed...well, he took us to a very interesting sub-Reddit. We learned a lot. And that's not the only thing we learned a lot about on this episode, as Austin tells us about going to the gym late at night and this somehow leads to us diving WAY too deep into Steven Seagal's history, from his legendarily bad SNL performance to his horrendous recent movies. It's a wild rabbithole. Plus, Austin gets fooled on TikTok into watching Andrew Tate clips, Stefan checks in on Darren Rovell, and John sparks some funny text messages after Drake goes viral for a strange DM slide.

If you want to slide into our DMs (sort of), you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you THREE bonus episodes every single month. Last week, Jacob Samuel joined us for one of the truly stupidest mailbags of all-time, where we spend 20 minutes answering a question in the dumbest way possible. This week, it's the return of the Canadian Education Programme as Lance St. Laurent returns to watch a beloved Canadian miniseries with us. We also have ad-free episodes and a whole lot more, so check it out!

  • Luke Taylor (comedian) joins the show for the first time to give us his first-hand experience of what it feels like to be the main character of Twitter for a day, after his run-ins with Mr. Peanut online turn into a Vice article, some attention from Bhad Bhabie, and a whole lot of people angry at him. But we could never stay mad at Luke, as he tries his best to be a great guest despite not receiving the John email. And he succeeds, as we discuss English accents, inflatable Michael Jacksons, the "Blanket" incident, and Balloon Boy. Plus, Luke lets us know that the best social media right now is Facebook Stories, Elon Musk writes a tweet about "Woke Jeopardy!" that's as good as you think it is, and Joey reviews the new KFC Chizza.

If you want something that'll certainly go down a lot easier than a Chizza, how about the entire Blocked Party bonus episode back catalogue? It totals over 150 episodes, and you get access to it immediately if you support the Blocked Boys at patreon.com/blockedparty. Just $5/month for that AND three new bonus episodes every damn month. Plus, we have ad-free episodes, merch discounts, and lots of other fun stuff. So support the show and your podcasting habit today!

Luke Taylor is a Twitch streamer who you can find on Twitch most days at twitch.tv/thelukeman. You can also follow Luke on Instagram at @lukewithoutlimits.

  • We are back to our regularly scheduled program after Freaky February, and who better to join us than Lane Moore (author, podcaster) to discuss how she is at odds with--but also in love with--Facebook's online marketplace. There's no contention on the rest of the episode though, as we discuss podcast theme songs, the downfall of Twitter and now TikTok, Stefan's new gaming laptop, and how almost every online parody song is about COVID. Plus, girlbossing your way through mental health, Trapt gets denied by a venue, and Stefan walks us through the terrifying "Willy Wonka Experience".

If you want to live in a world of pure imagination, you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty and donate to our show! $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. Last week, it was the amazing conclusion of our BPD&D Season 3 with Jesse and db from YKS, and this week, Jacob Samuel returns to the show for an in-person mailbag. We also have ad-free episodes, merch discounts, and much more, so check it out today!

  • It's the final episode of Freaky February and it's time to take the ultimate challenge: an episode of Howell Dawdy's Fast Track, where we have to write a song in 30 minutes or less. Now, we aren't the musical genius that Howell is, so we decided to write a parody song instead of an actual, "we play the instruments" song, but look...we aren't very good at that either. After canvassing people to find out what the most annoying song at karaoke is, we settled on a parody of "Sweet Caroline", a song we both hate, and of course...we make it about needing to poop really bad.

If you have an urge to do something else, why not head on over to our Patreon and support the Blocked Boys doing what they love? It's just $5/month at patreon.com/blockedparty for THREE bonus episodes every single month. Last week, Ivan Decker joined us for the triumphant return of "Word Up!", our Cameo-themed bonus episodes, and this week, it's the thrilling conclusion of Blocked Party D&D: Season 3, with our good friends Mike and Jesse from Your Kickstarter Sucks. We also have ad-free episodes, merch discounts, and more, so check it out!

  • It's Freaky February and we continue on with an episode of "Dudes", a send-off on our good friend Bryan's podcast "Guys", which is about, well, guys. This week, we have Tony Boswell (Minion Death Cult) joining us to discuss a Dude near and dear to our hearts: the Nu-Metal Dude. We dig into the weird politics around the nu-metal sub-reddit and find a treasure trove of great Ticketmaster reviews of some of your favorite nu-metal bands like Korn, Limp Bizkit, Disturbed, and Slipknot. Most of the reviews are about parking at the venue. Dudes, as they say, rock.

If you wanna rock, you can help support the show by heading over to patreon.com/blockedparty and donating $5/month to help the Blocked Boys. For that $5, you'll also get THREE bonus episodes every single month. Last week, Raft joined us for a mailbag episode, and this week, our famous "Word Up!" bonus episode returns, as we dig into the horrible, terrible, no good world of Cameo [dot] com. We also have ad-free episodes, merch discounts, an exclusive Discord, and more, so check it out!

Tony Boswell is one of the hosts of Minion Death Cult, which is available wherever you get your pods. You can follow him on Instagram at @wordisbondtv. "Guys" is a podcast hosted every week by Murder Bryan and Chris James, and is also available wherever you get your pods. You can donate to their Patreon at patreon.com/murderxbryan.

  • Freaky February continues as we do an episode of one of our very favourite podcasts, and in fact, the first podcast John ever listened to, Stop Podcasting Yourself! We are very pleased to be joined by one of SPY's own hosts, Dave Shumka, as we discuss "Mean Girls: The Musical", the time that Yahoo! hired Snow (yes, the Canadian white rapper Snow) to do its hold music, and John working out too hard and being unable to move for a week. Plus, we dive into your Overheards and Overseens and don't worry, when BP does SPY...it IS that kind of show.

If you want more of this kind of show, head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every dang month! This week, Raft rejoins the show for our first-ever mailbag with them, and it was, predictably, a real delight. Plus, we couldn't just let Sweeps Month go by without doing something special, so next week, our Cameo series, "Word Up!" makes its triumphant return to the bonus feed. We also have ad-free episodes, merch discounts, and much more, so head on over there and support the show today!

Dave Shumka is one of the two hosts of Stop Podcasting Yourself, which is available wherever you get your podcasts. You can also hear his work as a producer as part of the "Let's Make A..." series and "This Sounds Serious". You can follow him on Twitter at @daveshumka.

  • It's Freaky February! For the first time ever, Blocked Party is celebrating its Sweeps Month by doing episodes of our favourite podcasts. First on the docket: Your Kickstarter Sucks. We've got all your favourite YKS segments in here from voicemails to an update on a previous Kickstarter to the famous SIX-PACK. Stefan and John break down the worst of the worst on Kickstarter, from a Christian television network/streaming service that managed $25 towards its $5.3m goal to a handheld vacuum that absolutely looks like a vibrator. That's right, we're still doing these.

If you wanna do even more Blocked Party, you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every month. This month, it's the thrilling conclusion of BPD&D3 with YKS' very own Mike and JF, and we have a few more fun things planned with beloved guests for the rest of Sweeps Month. You won't wanna miss it! Plus there's ad-free episodes, a Discord, merch discounts, and lots more. Get on over there!

Your Kickstarter Sucks is a weekly podcast about bad kickstarters and you can follow them over at twitter.com/yourkickstarter. You can donate to their Patreon at patreon.com/yourkickstartersucks.

  • Amy Walsh (comedian) joins us for the first time with one of the more tangential Blocks in the show's history, as she lied on a job application about taking a holiday and really, really didn't want her boss to find out. Thankfully she's less secretive on the show as John gets some advice about his upcoming trip to her homeland of Ireland and we discuss Kevin Hart's NFT TV show (yes, that's real), poor eyesight, and we revisit the sexual rules of the pandemic including the infamous Government of BC notice that encouraged the use of gloryholes. Plus, Amy goes viral for a simple (but funny) TikTok, a Nets reporter gets into a cartoon-sounding car crash during a post-game Twitter Space, and a very bizarre quote tweet leads to a little guessing game.

Luckily, you don't have to guess at the best way to support this show: it's our Patreon! Over at patreon.com/blockedparty, $5/month will get you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. Last week, our latest D&D episode with Jesse and db from YKS went up, and it was the usual chaotic good time. We also have ad-free episodes, merch discounts, an exclusive Discord, and the new $100 Club perks were just announced for this year, so join today!

Amy Walsh is a comedian who is 1/3 of the podcast Soft for Us, which you can find wherever you get your pods. She also hosts a monthly dog-friendly comedy show in Vancouver, which you can find info about on Instagram at @bigdogenergycomedy. You can also follow Amy while you're there at @amywalshcomedy.

  • HCJustin (Twitch streamer) joins the show for the first time to tell us about being a beta tester for the Sims Online as a teenager....and immediately getting banned from the game. We also relive our teenage days with some deep talk about Spencer's Gifts (there's still over 600 locations!), Justin explains his insane sub-a-thons, and we chat about birth certificates, taxes, and while explaining "normal mode" on Go Off Kings, we learn what the most common sound alerts are on Twitch. Guess what? They all suck! Plus, Justin introduces us to TikTok's "Mine Lady", Peep This Out starts a Rumble account, and John goes viral with his tweet about Emma Stone and Jeopardy!.

If you want to feel less like you're in jeopardy, why not donate to the show? It'll relieve all of that stress and help support your favourite Blocked Boys. And for $5/month, you also get THREE bonus episodes every month! Last week, our good friend Josh Custodio joined us to discuss Stefan getting blocked by Colin Moriarty, and this week, our D&D series with YKS continues. Plus! We introduced our new $100 Club perks, so check those out! The $100 Club comes with ad-free episodes, all bonus episodes with video, and a chance to win your sub back! That's all at patreon.com/blockedparty.

  • Beth McColl (writer) returns to the program to discuss how she got blocked by one of Twitter's renowned weirdos, author Joyce Carol Oates, but for not really doing anything weird or offensive. She just faved a partly disparaging tweet reply! That's it! Sad that she has to miss out on disgusting keyboards and deranged foot pics, but here we are. After John messes up the intro, we get into a great episode as we discuss Jackson Galaxy, Cat Bin Lady, John's upcoming trip to London, we finally introduce the $100 Club perks for 2024, and Beth tells us about being THAT girl at a wedding. Plus, Beth falls in love with the Bass Pro Shops Pyramid and the recent incident there, Stefan gets us deep into some bog talk, and we discuss Jo Koy throwing his writers under the bus at the Golden Globes.

If you want to pull us out from under the bus, you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. Last week, Robin Hatch joined us for a Blocked Bag episode, and this week, BPD&D Episode 4 comes out, with our good friends from YKS. Plus, as we announced on the show, a slew of new $100 Club perks for our most treasured of Tiers, which as always, will come with ad-free episodes, deep merch discounts, and a whole lot more. So please help support the show today!

Beth McColl is a writer and podcaster who has a brand-new book and a brand-new podcast out NOW. Her new book, "Romanticise Your Life", is now available for pre-order in the UK, and will be available worldwide as an e-book and audiobook on February 1st. • Katie Burrell (comedian/actor) joins the show for the first time for a double dip of Block Tales, as she sets out to make a video for two ski brands and neither of them like it. Don't worry, it's 100% the brands' fault, and Katie gets into it here as she teaches us a lot about skiing on this one. We discuss Katie's history with stand-up comedy and skiing and how that led her into becoming the world's foremost "Leisure Athlete", awkward high school reading aloud experiences, the worst things we've eaten, and bombing down black diamonds. Plus, Katie describes trying to promote her debut feature film, Stefan plays us a clip from Reacher, and John runs into a heartwarming "Old Twitter"-style moment over on his timeline.

If you want some more heartwarming moments, head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. This week, Robin Hatch returns to the show for a mailbag episode, and of course, our D&D series with Jesse and db continues apace with our fourth episode in the coming weeks. We also have our brand-new $100 Club perks releasing very soon, we've got ad-free episodes, we've got merch discounts, and much, much more.

Katie Burrell's debut feature film, Weak Layers, is now playing in select theatres across the United States, and launches in Canada this Friday, January 12th. She wrote, produced, directed, and starred in the movie, so go see it! You can find where it's playing near you by heading to weaklayers.com/watch. • It's our first-ever New Year's Day episode, and we are celebrating the dawn of 2024 the right way: by declaring the people and things we will direct the most negative energy towards for the next 366 days (leap year!). But first, we discuss our respective Christmases including Stefan's Lethal Company marathon, John's trip to Ontario and big gift from Becca, and Dan discovering that since his recent sobriety, he has lost his tolerance for marijuana. Plus, we discuss Goldeneye, Diddy Kong Racing, Fanatics, Bryan's Christmas Lego run, and the Go Off Kings gift one listener a new toilet. And of course...we run down our 2023 Enemies List and review how successfully we hated on them over the last year, and introduce our enemies for the FIFTH ANNUAL 2024 Enemies List including a first for the List...John and Stefan have the same #1.

If you want to guarantee yourself a great 2024, head on over to our Patreon and support the beautiful Blocked Boys on another year of podcast merriment. $5/month at patreon.com/blockedparty gets you THREE bonus episodes a month, access to our entire back catalogue, merch discounts, access to our Discord, and more. • It's Christmas! Our first-ever on-Christmas episode brings a return from favorite guest K.C. Novak, who is buoyed by Racquel Belmonte's recent Block Tale about being blocked by a therapist to discuss how K.C. was blocked by her therapist as well. It was time. It's a Cincinnati Christmas on this episode as K.C. tells us all about the traditions of her hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio, as she heads back there for Christmas, and we get into the chili, the ice cream, and the goetta (?) of it all. We also talk egg bags, holiday plans, and hockey. Plus, K.C. DMs the host of a Vanderpump Rules podcast, people get very weird about outdoor cats, and we look back on a year of horrendous Elon Musk jokes.

If you want to access over five years of great jokes, head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to our entire back catalogue of over 100 bonus episodes! If you're a shark like K.C. and you just need to keep swimming, we've got you covered. And if that's not enough, we release 3 new ones every month! We're crazy! Last week, Joe Kwaczala rejoined the show to discuss Michael Bublé's "Christmas" album, and next week, it's the third instalment of BPD&D3 with Jesse and db from Your Kickstarter Sucks. Wow! We also have ad-free episodes, an awesome Discord, and a bunch more stuff. It makes a great Christmas gift!

  • Lucky us! When a guest had to cancel 20 minutes before recording due to a sudden illness, we couldn't have asked for a better last-minute replacement, as our good friend and one of our faves Libby Watson (writer/streamer) stepped up and answered the call. And what a call it is, as Libby regales us of the time some power-hungry loser at TwitchCon tried to prevent her from eating a donut 3 minutes early. We also talk about knife sharpening, farmer's markets, and onion goggles, before going heavy on Christmas talk as we discuss our favourite ornaments, Christmas memories, and Christmas carols. Plus, Libby finds a harrowing Christmas Yoda at Home Depot, Yoda plays Lethal Company, and Twitter got a new main character this week and he absolutely rocks.

If you want more stuff that absolutely rocks, head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month will make a great Christmas/Hanukkah gift and will get you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month! Last week, Rory Uphold returned to the show to review the Season 2 finale of "...And Just Like That" with us, and this week, Joe Kwaczala returns for a Canadian Education episode about Michael Bublé's Christmas album. • Dead Blossom Jesse (Twitch streamer) joins the show for the first time to promise us that they don't generally engage with strangers online, but they couldn't resist in this one instance (just the one) and go WAY down the rabbit-hole of convincing this stranger that they have a medical condition and he shouldn't be trifling with DBJ. We do a lot of trifling with DBJ on this episode though, as we ponder what would happen if John died, lancing boils, smashing pennies, smoking an entire pack of cigarettes at once, which Shakespeare characters we would be, and we try to find a new impression for Stefan. Plus, DBJ is getting really into GameDev Twitter, Elon and IMC lie about their enjoyment of the Grand Theft Auto series, and John finds a POD Kast comment on Reddit underneath a headline you would never imagine devolving into POD Kast discussion.

If you want something to impress all your pals on Reddit with, you can donate to our damn show! Help support the Blocked Boys and get THREE new bonus episodes every single month over at patreon.com/blockedparty. Last week, we continued our D&D series with Jesse and db from Your Kickstarter Sucks and this week, Rory Uphold returns after her legendary first appearance on the show to help us wrap up our Season 2 review of "...And Just Like That", as we watch the season finale. You also get access to our entire back catalogue of over 100 episodes, you get merch discounts, you get access to our Discord, and you can get ad-free episodes. Plus! The BP Lotto makes its first-ever appearance in one week's time on December 17th, as one BP $100 Club member will win their subscription for free! So don't miss out!

  • Racquel Belmonte (comedian) is back for her first regular episode in nearly 1.5 years, and it's no time too soon as we learn the story of how she finds a therapist after being diagnosed with ADHD, and things don't really work out. As you might remember, the last time Racquel was on the podcast, she was single, and now...she is married! We run through her whirlwind courtship, engagement, and recent small wedding to an old friend who is now her husband! It's a wonderful tale with lots of laughs. And speaking of weddings, this is the first recording since Stefan got back from Tom and Demi's wedding in Australia, so we get the low-down on their wild ceremony, seeing koalas, Hungry Jack's, and we learn the wild backstory behind the whole "a dingo ate my baby!" thing.

If you want plenty more backstories, head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty and support the show! A donation of $5/month gets you THREE brand-new bonus episodes every month AND access to our entire back catalogue of over 100 episodes. It's a great deal! • Michael Balazo (comedian, Evil Men) returns to the show for a block that may not be surprising in nature given the person in question, but it might be surprising that Michael displays a great amount of valiance and support for a loved one after Graham and his followers chase after her in a weird way online. This episode displays a great amount of valiance as well, as we discuss fighting each other, Grey Cup halftime shows, betting on Green Day, shaving in public, weird hockey teammates, and Stefan prepares to fly to Australia. Plus, Michael has a tweet go viral that gets us talking Benny Hill, Stefan deletes his Twitter account, and John sees a Twitter joke that is so rooted in Twitter's old days that it gets us nostalgic.

If you want to get nostalgic for the early days of this podcast, supporting the show over at patreon.com/blockedparty for $5/month will get you access to our ENTIRE back catalogue of bonus episodes! That's over 100! Wowee! Plus, we're still releasing three new ones every damn month! Last week, our good friend Charlie Demers returned for a mailbag episode, and very soon, the second episode of BPD&D3 with Mike and Jesse will arrive and it promises to be as insane as the first. • Gavin Matts (comedian) returns to the show and catches a block that realistically we should all aspire to catch: he gets blocked by O.J. Simpson. You remember, the football player who also did some other stuff. It was a COVID-era block but Gavin doesn't catch it for a reason you'd think, but rather for a well-timed joke. And there are lots of well-timed jokes on this episode as discussion of bodegas leads us down a strange rabbit hole into the world of pitbull breeding and the very strange posters that accompany said breeding. We also chat about the YouTube comments on Gavin's new special, speaking Italian, and we revisit the classic "dog condoms" bit. Plus, we learn a lot about the Pixel Fold: Hip Hop 50th Anniversary Edition, Ludacris' stage name, and Stefan shows us a dog that poops on a window, because of course he does.

If you want more of Stefan's hilarious hijinks, head on over to our Patreon page and donate to the show! Support your favorite fellas! $5/month at patreon.com/blockedparty gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every month. Last week, Adam Christie joined us for a Cullen the Herd episode where John talks about a Curling Twitter block, and this week, Charlie Demers returns to the show for a delightful mailbag. We also have ad-free episodes, access to our Discord, merch discounts, and more, so get on over there!

  • Alistair Ogden (comedian) returns to the show to take us on a journey into the psyche of one man, who posts numerous signs around his neighborhood looking for engagement from locals, from offering manicures and pedicures with no studio to needing help with Microsoft Excel. We learn probably more than we would want to, but it's fascinating. Also on the episode we are fascinated by Alistair going viral for pissing off small town Alberta, the Nerds candy universe (Rope/Dweebs/Punkies), old-school Halloween candies, and talk of beans leads to discussing our favorite Mr. Bean memories. Plus, Alistair introduces us to his TikTok comments section, Bob Hoskins talks about playing Super Mario, and the Bored Apes people blind a bunch of their fans.

If you want to be blinded by the sheer amount of bonus content we have available, then head over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. This week, fan fave Adam Christie joins the show for a Cullen the Herd episode, and later this month, BPD&D 3 with db and Jesse continues onward. We have over 100 bonus episodes available from the second you donate, plus merch discounts, a Discord, and lots of other fun stuff, so get your butt over there!!!

  • Brittany Lyseng (comedian) joins the show for the first time and it's the first in-studio guest in John's new home studio in Calgary. Unfortunately, Brittany is too nice online and so she is forced to do the one thing she never dreamed of doing: blocking Producer Dan. This is a Producer Dan-heavy episode as we spend a lot of time discussing his newfound fascination with pinball and that leads into talk of Godzilla, poetry, luxury kombucha, Halloween, and firecrackers. Plus, Brittany learns a lot about hobby horses, Stefan introduces us to the town of Skidmore, and we get a good reminder from our local elementary school teachers for Halloween.

If you want to hear from some real characters, head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, as just last week, Episode 1 of the third season of BPD&D dropped, and our guests this time around: Jesse and Mike from Your Kickstarter Sucks. It's a very stupid show, as you can imagine, but it's also a lot of fun. We also have ad-free episodes if you hate those damn ads, merch discounts, an exclusive Discord, and more! What are you waiting for?
